“I really enjoyed doing the online TEFL level 5 of 168hours course with the TEFL academy. The work was presented in an easy and simplified way, but the assignments still had a challenge to it. I feel much better equipped to be teaching foreigners now than before.”

“Firstly, our South African english is so much different. So, from the very first module, I was captivated and challenged. I love teaching English and was lucky to gain some experience over the years. The modules were well written and I adapted easily to them. The course has enhanced my English to a different level. Thank you for that opportunity. Can't wait to start teaching!”

“I recently completed the TEFL Academy Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). While challenging, it was my first experience studying EFL teaching and with online learning, I really enjoyed the entire course. The 20 hour classroom introduction and learning combined with the online course makes a very comprehensive prospectus. The course has given me the confidence and encouragement to pursue a career in EFL teaching, my next step will be to travel and gain classroom experience. Thank you TEFL Academy!”

“For many years I wondered whether I would make a capable teacher, both in terms of standing up in front of a class and the amount of knowledge required to deliver a lesson. I finally got up the nerve to join the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) programme and it was the best decision ever! The 20 hours of immersion learning and teaching was challenging and fun, with knowledgeable and caring instructors. The online course was well-delivered and thorough, with knowledge tests and exercises throughout before having to attempt the final test in the unit. The gradual guidance to the aims of each section provided every opportunity to excel. Any issues that I had were promptly addressed by the support staff. They were all excellent - often going beyond the original request and offering advice, encouragement and further testing opportunities in areas with which I struggled. I highly recommend this course. There are many others out there, but the pre-course administration, on-course assistance and post-course follow up speaks to a level of professionalism that is a pleasure to engage with. Now that I've got my certification, the world is my classroom! I can't wait to start the journey.”

“I've just finished Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and it was great experience - both during the weekend classes, which were so much fun, and online. At first I was nervous as my self-confidence is not on a high level although after going through all the units and learning more and more about teaching I realized it might not be as scary as I thought to go into the classroom and start teaching :) I recommend it to everyone who wants to start the journey with teaching!”

“I have recently completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) online and I have to say that it was not easy for me. The 6 months time period were sufficient for me although I did take my time in completing the course as I had to juggle between 2 jobs and this course. The course structure was easy to understand and all the additional resources were really helpful! The assignments were really hard and I struggled a lot trying to complete the first assignment. After I got used to doing the first one, the second and third assignments were much easier. Overall, I loved the course and I really hope to start my career in teaching soon. Thank you TEFL Academy for giving me the chance to achieve my goal!”

“Having completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours) I must commend the TEFL Academy on a course that is presented excellently! The coursework was well laid out into 11 units dividing the study themes. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. All queries, both admin and coursework related, were answered within hours of requesting clarification. The Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hour) course presented by the TEFL Academy would certainly be recommended to all in the future.”

“The TEFL Academy Level 5 course (168 hours) This course exactly fulfilled my requirements for a flexible, supported, affordable mode of study leading to an internationally recognised TEFL qualification. Its scope is ambitious and covers the essential practical and theoretical elements for a first stage professional teaching course. The course material is detailed and clearly structured into manageable units which allows participants to assess their understanding of each topic, measure their progress and set their own pace of study. The assignments are rigorous, demanding the application of key concepts and ideas from the course and suggested resources in ‘real life’ teaching and learning contexts. I successfully completed the course in about six weeks, but I was lucky enough to have some prior knowledge and experience. I would guess that some people might need longer than this if the material was completely new to them, as there is much to assimilate. Overall this is a challenging, comprehensive and interesting course, which represents excellent value for money.”
