“The online section was very intuitive and was a great supplement to the in-class training. The in-class instructor was genuinely very effective at providing feedback and made the material interesting and kept the class engaged. Assignment feedback was thorough and constructive to improve for real-life teaching environments.”

“Apart from doing the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) I have no other teaching training. This course is very well structured to lead the future teacher from the very basics to an advanced level of skills to teach professionally. The assignments were initially daunting, but became very enjoyable the deeper I got involved with them. Using the assignment guidelines of the course and combining them with my own ideas resulted in very interesting outcomes for which I scored above average. I can really recommend this course to everybody interested in teaching without a teaching degree or diploma. I do however believe that anyone doing this course must have a tertiary qualification before doing this”

“I studied the TEFL Level 5 course (168 hours) and I have learned so many things about teaching - new skills, new concepts and also ideas to put into practice in a classroom. This course provides exercises to complete during the course and the assignments makes you feel prepared to teach in a real classroom (if you do not have teaching experience). I feel more confident and prepared to teach and also that I have gained a new skill. This is the second course that I have completed with TEFL Academy. I totally recommend it.”

“I highly appreciated my 168 hours TEFL course. There was a lot of useful and well-structured information I can use in my teaching. I particularly enjoyed the section about different methods and approaches to ELT, as well as chapters on course planning and different types of the lessons. Moreover, plenty of links to great ELT resources were provided, and I actually just started using them in my everyday work - the materaials are fabulous. The unit tests were quite easy but the three assignments...I felt really scared at first but after all everything went just great and I got excellent marks. The course was not easy but definitely worth doing.”

“I completed the Level 5 TEFL Online Course (168 hrs) last week. I consider that this Course gave me insight into various teaching methods. It provides its learners not only useful and interesting information (how to plan your lesson, for example) but also materials to use in class, etc. I found the course fascinating that I could not wait to see what was coming next as I was doing my studying. Besides, the modules are very well organized and presented so anyone who studies this course is satisfied, I believe. As for the assignments that I had to do, I found them difficult but exciting at the same time. To be honest, I was not stressed at all to do them as the material that I had studied was more than enough. The only assignment that I was stressed about was the final one since I had a serious health issue and was unable to do it on the due date. Even though I finally managed to do it on time, people of the TEFL Academy gave me an extension of one month to complete the assignment after they had been informed of the situation. And this is where I should thank them. Overall, this course was a great experience and I definitely recommend it.”

“I just finished my Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) course and I must say it was more insightful than I anticipated. The level of knowledge and skills I have acquired from this course (in less than months) is outstanding and I will definitely utilize them in my Teaching career. I love the flexibility and conveniency of studying online, but I found it even more rewarding that the course offered a lot of information that I ended up having little research to do on my own. I have already recommended this course to a few people :)”

The content of the course provided me with a lot of useful information and resources. I really enjoyed the whole experience and I can say that I don't regret taking the decision to do a TEFL course with the TEFL Academy.
