“I'm a surveyor dealing with shop property. Wanting to update my Leica laser distance measure (Classic model), I ordered the Disto D810. Thinking I might've made a mistake, I emailed The Tape Store to hold the order pending my calling them. I spoke with Ian Johnson of TTS and the differences and drawbacks for my specific requirements were clarified. I opted for the Disto D510. The invoice couldn't be changed but the difference in price was processed and refunded promptly and I received the D510 next day via courier. I familiarised myself with how to use the D510, customised the functions and used it a couple of days later on inspections. Brilliant. If and when I shop around, then it's not the lowest price I'm after, but finding people who understand the difference been 'customer service' and how I'm spoken to during the transaction. Would I hesitate to use The Tape Store again? No.”
