“On Sunday afternoon last I physically broke a Raspberry Pi 0 2W and placed an order for two that day, and by Tuesday I had them delivered. Such was the response from the Pi Hut it just couldn't be any better, unless they could beam them to me... Hmmm there's an idea!!”

“I ordered an e-paper display and a Raspberry Pi Debug Probe. The ordering process was easy, the order was shipped and delivered very quickly, and was received in perfect condition. The shipping cost was very reasonable, especially considering I received the rder next day. What's not to like? I'd much rather support The Pi Hut than order stuff of dubious origin from a certain enterprise named after a South American river.”

“How far the hobby market has come in 70 years frankly amazes me. But at heart it's still the same hobby. Knowing a good supplier is the key. My first in 1955 was a govt surplus store in Little Newport Street, WC2. Now my favourite is ThePiHut, weaning me off the vast but hitty-missy CPC catalogue. The range isn't huge but that's a strength. What's stocked is simply the best for the job at a fair price. And each item is so well-researched (it's always worth clicking "+ View More"), and cross-referenced, that finding the part you need (or thought you needed) is a joy not a chore. The multi-piece component kits are a brainwave. Never in my right mind would I have ordered 575 resistors from CPC. But at £6 the Resistor Kit is cheaper than the alternative: dropping the soldering iron in frustration and going out for a beer. Plus I now have a wee bag of zero-Ohm resistors, which I hadn't a clue how useful they could be. Same story for the Button Kit.”

“Excellent catalogue, items arrived super fast. Great quality too. Nice sticker. Overall, one of the best electronics purchasing experiences I have had! Only reason I sometimes to go AliExpress is for cheaper prices, but PiHut has its niche when you don't want to skimp out on components and need stuff fast that works.”
