I would like to know why I wasted half an hour of my time arguing with one of your sales representatives about Highland postage, when apparently you don't charge to mainland anyway? (spending over £150) he was adamant u had to cover the postage which was going to be around £19,but upon checking out (tfc were the only company who had what I needed in stock) It became apparent from your selections for postage that I would not incur any extra charge. Speedy service otherwise but please train staff on this!!

Hi Bethan, thanks so much for your positive review and for your constructive feedback. We will certainly use this as a means to improve our service for future customers. Apologies for the confusion with the information given, we did used to charge an additional highlands charge (passing on the extra the couriers charged to us) but did ultimatley decide to scrap it so that our highlands customers did not have to pay extra. The member of staff you had spoken to had been communicating the old system accidentally. The good news is that any future highlands orders over £150 we be free delivery, just like the rest of mainland UK! We hope you are enjoying your purchase. :-) Team TFC

Very excellent customer service when a flash I bought turned out to have a problem (wont name brands) - superb communication and very helpful and accommodating.

I really like the flash centre but have had a couple of issues ordering on line. The primary one is I have to clear my cookies to stop being re-directed to a holding page. So call them, a chat is much more fun anyway.

Purchases Elinchrom Umbrellas on line one evening. Expensive , but these were cheaper than other companies. Very efficiently despatched the next day. Badly let down by courier Parcelforce who tried to deliver when out, but failed to leave a card to say this. And Parcelforce are a complete nightmare in trying to speak with them and sort it out. The Flash Centre good company but need to change couriers.

Hi Richard, thanks for your honest feedback, it is greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we have discovered over many years of using various couriers, that they all can from time to time fail to leave cards, or create delays in deliveries. We do also use DPD and TNT couriers, so if Parcelforce aren't the best in your area (some depots / drivers can be worse than others) then please request one of the other couriers when placing your order in the special order instructions. Also, if you ldo have an issue with a delivery, please call us on 02078375649 or email websales@theflashcentre.com and we can do the work contacting the courier on your behalf to save you the hassle. A great price and a quick delivery.I can't fault you on that but I am knocking it down a star as the packaging was way over the top. It was a Benro tripod which was already nicely packaged in its own box. This was then sent in a huge box with yards of bubble wrap and those plastic air pillows, not very environment friendly packaging at all. All it needed was some brown paper wrapped around the Benro box. Come on guys think about the planet when you send things out :-).

Hi Jonathan, thanks for the feedback. When shipping we always like to place products in an outer box because unfortunately, the couriers can sometimes be a bit rough with the deliveries. The last thing we want is an item to arrive dented and potentially damaged, so we don't wrap things in paper we will always box it. The box we used for your order was unfortunately the smallest we had available at the time. In terms of our environmental commitment: - Around 50% of the packaging we use is re-used from other deliveries (in your case it was new packaging though). - We reuse as much padding material in our boxes as we can, and anything we can't re-use gets recycled. - All the packaging materials we use are recyclable - We only buy in bio-degradable packing chips Apologies that you felt the packaging was overkill, we would, of course, be immensely appreciative​ if you could pop it in the recycling.

Thanks for your feedback, it is greatly appreciated and we will take it into consideration. At this current time, we offer free delivery on orders over £150. We do use couriers that provide pre-delivery text slots so when receiving a delivery you know when to be in. These couriers are a touch more expensive than the alternatives, but we hope it's worth it for the service benefits.

The first time I bought stuff at the TFC was in the old store in London. The guys had great knowledge and were very patient with me. I'm from Germany and really out of practice with my english . After that I bought online and I'm very happy figured out The Flash Centre.

We’ll trained staff, stock a bit limited at Leeds and would love to attend day courses (paid or subsidenced payments from the likes of Elinchrom, etc)

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We're definitely looking to run more courses in the Leeds store. We're often running events in the Birmingham and London studios, but it's a bit trickier in Leeds as we don't have an in house studio there. Thanks for your feedback Alasdair. We've passed on the info about the troubles you were having to our web developers to see if they can work out what happened. It could be that it was a browser-specific​ issue at the time as it's not something we've ever come across before. It's being investigated though!
