“Excellent selection of all sorts of fish. I appreciate that fish is perishable and soon goes off. This important fact no doubt contributes to the high costs of delivery. As a household that does not eat the larger amounts of fish which reduce costs thus making small purchases much more expensive.”

“Could you please tell me how this is classed as organic. Is it the pellets you feed the salmon as I am presuming it is farmed. I usually get my fish locally but it is from Scotland - I haven't had any problems with my present supplier but it is not organic. I found the fillet chewy and dry tasting!!!!!”

Certification: Organic salmon farms must be certified by an official organic certification body. They are subject to annual inspections to ensure compliance with organic regulations. Health and Environment: Organic salmon farms create a natural and healthy environment for the fish. Antibiotics are only used under strict veterinary guidance, and the fish are raised in conditions that promote their welfare. So, while organic salmon is farmed, it is done in a way that adheres to rigorous environmental and ethical standards, making it significantly different from conventional aquaculture.
