“The CV Refresh service is very good. They take time to read and understand your background and then summarize your career effectively and positively in their redraft. Responses are very fast using the notes feature of the system. The ordering service is confusing with drop down boxes not relating to the service ordered. It will only take a few tweaks of their system to improve this.”

“Who knew that a good cover letter could be an elevator pitch on a page? I hate elevator pitches, but now I have one. My LinkedIn profile got some of the kindness it deserved and they brought it inline with my CV. Also, there are ways to bolster a LinkedIn profile, which I also used. They helped me shorten my CV (containing 26 years of professional experience) to two pages, while adding to the description of each job I did. I hadn't seen myself quite in the same light that they saw me and this made me confident and better able to market myself in my professional space. No superfluous wording, shameless self promotion, hollow embellishment or fluffy use of "best in class" or "leading", rather just good positioning and a solid description of my skills. Measured, but impressive and solid. Just like me. Oh, and they're really nice people too, running an ethical, and affordable service making people believe in themselves.”

“It was a somewhat helpful service although overall I feel a slight waste of time as I received better support from friends and family and Google searching things. The website chat system makes it a slow process and it doesn't feel like a collaborative work on your application documents. There wasn't much if any consideration for me as a person and conveying that, more so like they've just taken a load of jargon that doesn't sound like me and put it into a CV and cover letter. I used some of the CV pointers, I will use some of the bullet points from the cover letter, the linkedin document is out of date with how linkedin currently looks. Overall it's an acceptable service and it was at least nice to feel somewhat supported through this process.”
