“From the website there are two things that you are led to believe about the Apostille Service, that they are a fast and secure way of having your documents legalised. Whilst they are fast, unfortunately in my case, they were not secure. My legalised document was delivered to the wrong address even though the correct address was on my order form. Someone signed for it at that address, and I was not able to recover the document afterwards - so someone, somewhere, has my legalised document - not very secure! To be fair to the Apostille Service, when I informed them of this, they offered to fast track a renewal of the document, and the apostille, at no cost to me, so for that I am grateful. However, it still doesn't change the fact that my original document is still in the hands of someone else.”
