Re: TT778194, well here is my reference number so you have no excuse not to review this. teletext Holidays are little more than a criminal organisation. If you refuse to return money to someone you owe it to then this is called theft. These people owe me a lot of money and they have lied to me every step of the way. Do not in any circumstance consider spending money with them. I have written to the chairman who is obviously as pig ignorant as the rest of his company. Zero acknowledgment of my letter. Unfit to trade.

Absolutely disgusting rancid company and it’s workers. They have take 500 pound from my account with out permission. Holiday not going ahead. And they still took it. Vermin. Customer service line non existent. And they slam the phone down on you Must have happened to me over 20 times. I want my money back. Vermin. Rats Went in for another 500 pound today knowing that my holiday not going ahead to government restrictions COVID-19. Please. Avoid at all costs. They will take your money and run. Evil company. Full of Indians in their home country scamming us all. I even heard praying in the background. Should have smelt a rotter then. Something must be done!!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Holiday cancelled six months ago and still no refund in sight. Customer service is non existent.

I’m in the same boat as many of you in here still waiting for my refund for my holiday in may 2020 they promise every time I speak to then it will be in “in two weeks” they are the most disgustingly rude people I have been hung up on more times than I care to remember if the money is not in within a week I will be seeking legal advice I will never book with them again

Wish I could give 0 stars. DO NOT USE THEM!. We've had so many issues with them. They kept putting up the price after our holiday was confirmed. First it was flight was full so we had to get another airline back which added £114 to the original price. Then it was - someone calculated the total wrong so they needed more money out of us. I asked them to cancel the holiday. They said they can't, It's already booked. When we finally took the plane and got to our destination and they left us stranded with our 6 YEAR OLD. They couldn't find us on the transfers booking system at our destination. We were on the phone for 1hr holding and no answer ' WE ARE ABSOLUTELY LIVID' Being in a foreign country and not knowing where to turn and can't speak to anyone is awful!!!!!. I hope no one from teletext come on here trying to damage control and telling me to email. I ALREADY HAVE AND NO ONE REPLIED!!!!!!!! I will be taking you to court for this safeguarding issues.

Don’t use Teletext Holidays ... I booked a Holiday with them in Feb 2020 for a trip in April 2020. COVID hit and it got cancelled, I was due full payment after 17 days but received nothing. I was more than patient as I understood the travel industry was entering the unknown as were we all. After numerous emails and calls I did get my accommodation money back but not my flight carrier money, flying via TUI. Teletex advised me that they were waiting but TUI told me they had reimbursed Teletext. Again I tried to call with waiting for up to an hour with no answer, numbers not recognised and emails unanswered. Today I kept listening to the on hold music for an hour when finally somebody answered. Again the Teletext call taker maintained TUI hasn’t paid them ... I challenged the call taker on Teletexts terrible customer service as they are supposed to be looking after my interest and if that was the case they should at least have kept me in the loop. With this the call taker stated that she would call TUI on the other line and would I hold, I did for approx 2 minutes and then I was cut off ... as the conversation started the call taker confirmed all my contact details so I would assume I would get a call straight back apologising for being cut off ... still waiting. Even the complaint telephone is not recognised ... disgraceful

No refund after they cancelled the holiday even after requesting it due to lead passenger being diagnosed with cancer, repeatedly offered holiday voucher for next year after being told lead passenger would not be here. lead passenger has now dies refusing to give refund to pay for the funeral and we are getting in debt. They will reply to this review they will get in touch and look into it but do not it’s all lies that are destroying lives in some circumstances.

If I could rate zero star I would. This joke of a company are illegally not refunding people. My holiday was cancelled in July due to covid. No communication from them at all. Emails aren't replied to. Staff follow the same robotic script and are rude. Fast forward to Oct still keeping my money and still no refund. Avoid teletext like the plague.

Never will I book with teletext again, poor, poor poor service. Booked a holiday in June and due to Covid it got cancelled, Ryanair had sent money to teletext in august, I’ve still not received my refund. I’ve rang every month and they keep fobbing me off, “it will be at the end off month” It’s disgusting how they treat there customers.

Horrendous company if I could I would give a ‘0’ review they are that bad. Was meant to go on family holiday 3rd June, 10 of us. After numerous phone calls and emails we have still not received a penny back for our cancelled holiday. We have tried a chargeback and apparently teletext are only a third party and not responsible for refunds !! Teletext is who I paid for a package holiday for 10 of us. On my statements they are named teletext so how can this be true. We had a phone call from sales asking us to rebook. We said no, we told them we are doing a chargeback and the sales guy said you are not allowed to do this, I will get our legal team to contact you and “WE WILL WIN” !!! I’ve never had such a stressful encounter such as this in my life, they are fantastic at selling but appalling at anything else! PLEASE BEWARE THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND LIARS !!! I have used this company for the last 10 years at least. This year the experience was not a good one. I had to speak to 3 different advisers to book a holiday to Turkey. The first two did not seem to want to give me the holiday I was looking for and trying to give me other options. The third was very good. The holiday was cancelled due to COVID. I have only had a text message from them telling me this. I have called at least 3 times to ask for this information and confirmation that my money would be refunded, they have declined to do this. Apparently staff do not have access to email? I have been told my refund will be processed in January. Again I asked for emailed confirmation of this and again declined. Please stay away from them until after COVID. I did actually try to rebook the holiday to a destination that I could go to but of course the adviser did not want me to go to the destination or hotel that I wanted to go to????

I have still not received refund for my holidays booked on beginning June 2020 which was cancelled due to Covid .(TT784731 ) . Have made numerous calls and spend ages waiting phone to be answered with no reply . Also send many emails . Poor customer service. I am worried whether I will ever get my money back . Will never ever use this company again.

Would not touch this company at all !!! Booked holiday and turned up to our hotel for it to be closed ! No phone call off teletext to let us know got told to go to a different hotel and pay full amount to stay there for a week. Then for told we would get our refund in 5 working days . 7 days later no refund then got told they had to wait on confirmation off the hotel to prove they were shut... 14 days later still out our money for holiday plus another £700 for the hotel we had to pay out ourselves. 100% WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN !!!

This is my first time booking with teletext and never again. Customer service must be amongst the worst I have ever dealt with. Like many customers, my holiday was cancelled due to covid. All my payment were made to teletext yet they told me I have to claim my flights back from Ryan air myself. Thankfully Ryan air paid out but the money went to teletex who told me they have not received any payment from Ryan air. I told them that I have the email to prove otherwise and I was basically called a liar. I was then told that part payment would be received in October. When I called to check when in October I was then told that I would not be receiving any payment in October. When I queried the Ryan air payment again I was totally blanked. I asked when the payment could be expected now and I was not given a definitive answer. The person on the phone got really annoyed that I asked the question. We seem to be at the mercy of incompetence, surely it cannot be that difficult to refund, especially when there is no difficulty taking payments, which I may add have always been on time. Who knows when we will get paid out. Some of my friends and family who booked with other companies after my holiday date in June have already been paid out, so why can't teletext. Never again, you have lost another customer and most likely many more.

We have been waiting since May for a £600 refund without success. We decided to try and rebook, but when we did we were offered a price on a holiday and when they realise that we are a "Rebook" they put us through to another department who tried to charge us about£400 extra for the same holiday. Bunch of cowboys and would not use again STEER CLEAR. We are now using something called"Resolver" to try and get our money back.

Not sure how Teletext can say they have a customer service department No call backs even though promised. No response to emails. Ineffective CHAT facility with staff lacking any travel knowledge. No reply to recorded and signed for letters to all office addresses Uxbridge, Vauxhall Bridge Road and one to the CEO Daniel Taylor. It is £2400 I am awaiting and there are no issues about whether I am due a refund, flights and hotel cancelled. I have heard nothing. Yet, still I receive day in day out emails offering me holidays with great deals. I advise anyone thinking of using TELETEXT dont do it, look somewhere else, they are charlatans masquerading as a travel company.

A very unreliable company. Still waiting to get a refund of my holiday from April . This company owns me £ 1400. Have sent many many emails with no reply as to when I am getting my money back. Please do not book your holiday with them !!

Have to give 1star cos can’t leave review otherwise. Really should have ‘minus’ stars just for this company. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Cancelled my holiday in April, STILL trying to get my refund mid October - over £1600!! They don’t respond to emails. Wait over an hour to speak customer services and been promised every time it’ll be the end of the month! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME BY BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! This company deserves to be shut down with the way they have handled the whole COVID situation. My holiday was booked for 7-14 August and when I contacted them about the new government guide lines I was told they will not cancel the holiday (TT763018) and if I don't go I will lose all my money. I contacted my insurance company who said as long as I get confirmation that I will not be receiving a refund it will be sorted. Teletext said I had to go to Ryan air for a confirmation of no refund which I received straight away. I contacted teletext again and they replied that they had no confirmation that I had not stayed at the hotel. After receiving confirmation from the hotel I rang teletext explaining the situation to which they replied we have not had confirmation of a no show at the hotel. I replied I have and I have sent it through to customer support 60 times by e-mail and at this point the line goes dead . This has happened every time I spend 50 mins on the phone trying to get through to get it sorted. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS FIRM IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS THEY ARE NOT INTERESTED I would give minus 10 stars if possible
