Fco warning in place, flight 18/3/20 still scheduled so rang teletext to cancel hol, first advised refund email will be sent within 7 days. Then on chat 19/3/20 day after hol due to start told only rebook is offered! Flight due back 1/4/20 is now cancelled by ryanair so me and my grandaughter would have been stranded in spain! Teletext i want a full refund under your t&c’s that i am legally entitled to and not to rebook! Booking ref TT754115 Please get it sorted. One unhappy grandmother with custody who needs my hard earned cash back

2 of us booked were booked to the Canaries on 14th March, when a few hours before departure we were emailed to inform us that all flights were cancelled. We have emailed, phoned and spent an hour on chat with absolutely no satisfaction from Teletext holidays. They promise to phone back but don't,they simply have offered nothing, they have our money, and we have nothing in return, SHOCKING

We are currently trying to get a refund on our Madrid holiday. As a UK citizen we are currently not allowed to travel to madrid. We have rang your customers service team and spoke to Freddie. Freddie states that he is unable to refund us as he has no information regarding this UK Government notice. We asked him 7 times to put us through to his supervisor. He wouldn't. We were on the phone over an hour and got no where. We immediately emailed and have got no response! Disgraceful!

I felt i was pressure sold my holiday, the salesmans accent created a misunderstanding and i was pushed into a holiday, given an hour to pay deposits, i asked for 2 cases was told 4 were included, actually only 1 was included, tge price was £354 per person online price, actual price £424, i accepted this for a private transfer, which is actually a shuttle bus, and baggage costs but i have no bags, i feel mis-sold. Ive complained and been told the baggage included is handbags, not even hand luggage, i asked for cases, i have asked for a copy of the sales call so far not recieved, i would advise anyone wanting to book with teletext holiday to check very carefully their booking details if it says includes 4x bags check the weight, dont be pressured dont believe they have had a cancellation its going to sell you must book now, and check their price i did and love holidays if i didnt have 4 cases were much cheaper, i didnt get 4 cases just be careful.

I have made a booking and paid over 3k for my family holiday on the 2nd of March and I have not received my booking details, my flights and accommodation. I have called unlessly and stayed on hold for over 1 hr and when I press 1 for sells the phone don't even ring before they answer. I have not been able to get through to anyone for days now and I don't have my booking vouchers for resort and flight. Never booking with them again. Customer service is great before they get your money but once they do, you no longer matter.

There prices are always incorrect... they advertise a bargain when you go to book it’s much more expensive

Hi Joanne, We are sorry to read your concerns with regards to the prices shown on the website. We use suppliers live systems for flights and accommodation and prices are always fluctuating so the live price would be confirmed to you when you call our sales department. Being honest with our customers is our priority and we do advise about live pricing at various places on our website, “Prices change regularly, please call now for the live price” and as you mentioned any optional extras such as baggage, transfers etc are not included in the advertised price and are optional. The price shown is for accommodation and flights again as advised on the website. Hope this helps. Best Wishes Becky

Very poor they booked my week away and last night rang me and asked for more money. They then asked me if I would like to cancel the holiday they then offered me a 2star instead now must wait to see when I get refunded

I have booked a holiday 5 days ago I was asked to pay 100 deposit to secure which I did then the have taken the full amount inc deposit. It is impossible to get through on the phone. I haven’t had the holiday details sent through confirming also promised airport transfers included so need to check this. The whole process of booking with Abel was very very pressurised

Took my booking and deposit, sent me confirmation emails and invoices then called me back 5 hours later saying there was an error and they wanted more money!

I was misled to believe by Teletext advert that we could access the indoor pool, the gym, sauna, etc with no restriction, however, on arrival at 2:30am we were issued with a ticket written in Spanish telling us that we were only allowed once during our stay to the indoor facilities and that we had to purchase a swimming hat sold at 3 euro for each of us. I would never have picked up this hotel if I have been aware of the indoor facilities not being available every day. On the first night, we were parked in the smallest room possible with 3 single beds and a small drawer blocking the access to the balcony and was told by reception to speak to the day reception at 8am the next morning. Anyhow, after only 3 hours sleep I went to talk to the receptionist who told me that I had book a basic room and that was that. After I explained that, there was some health and safety issues, as we could not even move between the beds or access the balcony. The receptionist asked me to come back after breakfast to check if another room was available. We were finally moved to a more suitable accommodation - still not a 4 star at this point. The cleanliness of the hotel was appalling, the floor in our room was only swiped once, and the bedsheet and bedcover were stained and not changed once during our stay. The reception staff was less than friendly or helpful as when I asked them to check my transfer back to the airport, as the print for the picks up was somewhat scrambled and I could not see my name, I was directed to a payphone and told to call the company myself as they made it clear it was nothing to do with them, zero rated customer service. On departure day, which was day 5, although I paid for 6 nights they stopped the card to get food and drinks right after lunch, therefore we could not even get water or coffee without being charged. The food at the restaurant was varied also not much choice for vegetarian as the salad bar has remained unchanged the whole week as well as the snack bar between meals were burgers (soaking in oil), sausages swimming in water and undercooked chips was on offer and ham and cheese for the cold option. Wi-Fi was not free in any part of the hotel – even McDonalds has free Wi-Fi in very country. This is not a 4 stars at all The whole experience has been awful and I will never book that hotel again for the reason stated above. I will make a formal complain to Teletext for their misleading advert about the hotel facilities. Read the small prints especially in the all inclusive deal as indoors facilities and wi-fi are not included

Had this trip planned for at least 26 years, finally got the money to do Vegas, staying at the bellagio over Easter 2020, paid our trip in full, as it was going from Gatwick we booked a hotel and parking, 140.00 this cost us, anyway six weeks before we were going we had a call from teletext saying our outbound flight was cancelled, we could go the following day and lose a day off our hols with no refund or we coukd go a day earlier and pay over 200.00 plus extra money for accommodation in Vegas for the extra night, it has taken my husband to speak to my employer as we are normally not allowed time off at Easter, our busiest time, but as it was our 27 th wedding anniversary, this was granted, we phoned ba and they were not really that helpful as we had no booking number for ba which ment we were never booked onto that flight in the first instance, but he did leave us a lovely nugget saying, how come they never offered offer you the same holiday but going from Heathrow at more or less the same time, can you imagine how we felt knowing that was never ever offered to us, I have even emailed your ceo and had no reply as I really think the 140.00 for my hotel which I can no longer use should be compensated as really is not my fault. I have had a full refund on the holiday but this really is not good enough, how can you treat people like this and be able to sleep at night. My time is precious with my husband and I get five weeks off per year, and I trusted you to fulfill my dreams and all you did was stamp on them.

Do not book with this company. I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for my refund after my flight was cancelled. My emails have been ignored. I called and was told someone will get back to me. No one did. I’ve just had a live chat and was told I need to wait for my money. This is unacceptable. I need my money back to book a new one. The customer service is awful. Once they have your money they don’t care.

I rung teletext holidays yesterday for a price for a holiday. Prices way out from the website. Hundreds of pounds out. I queried the costings. Agent then started to become pushy and kept asking what my budget was. He then ended the call. Not a good experience

Bad experience from the start. Prices do not match the advertised prices. The first agent I spoke to was very pushy, seemed helpful to start with, but after being on the phone for over an hour, most of it being put on hold, he started to lose his patience. Then I received an email saying I had to pay double the amount in installments to what I had agreed. This took a long time to sort out, at one point I was told by the agent he could not help and he was ending the call, which he did, just hung up the phone. I have been refused a conformation of payment plan via email. After talking to someone via 'live chat' I did manage to save the chat feed, so have some kind of proof st least. I then decided the hotel is not what I really want. Due to feeling pressured on first phone call. I was told someone would call me within 24 hours, this did not happen, i was then told another 24 hours, again this did not happen. Then I was told I would receive a call at 6:30 pm, again no joy. I called the following morning, the agent guaranteed he would, personally call me back within 2 hours. 6 hours later still no phone call. I have called again, with some help, but again told I will be called back tomorrow. So we will see.

Terrible terrible non human people. I’ve booked a holiday for me and my wife, it’s our honeymoon I’ve waited a year and they’ve scammed me. They told me hold luggage would be included and easy jet are saying no hold luggage included. They told me we would get a honey moon sweet With a sea view balcony room and the hotel have advised teletext have told them pool view standard room. I suffer from epilepsy I’m so stressed out every time I want to speak to a manager they just pass the parcel within their one team. I’ve just checked online after a colleague has confirmed that their name is teletext holiday limited and companies house has confirmed the company dissolved in 2015. Something needs to be done with these scammers !!!

Disgusting service and lacking in integrity. They took money off my card to secure a reservation against my chosen hotel. When I called back to complete the remaining payment, was told they had not held the reservation and the price had shot up by an extra £200. I was told the initial deposit I paid was not enough to hold the reservation...so why take my money in the first place?! I then asked for them to continue the booking because they were still offering a much cheaper price. More fool me. They took a £50 deposit from my credit card, kept me on the phone for an hour to then come back to me to tell me even though they had sent through confirmation of the holiday they could no longer honour that price and it was now another £300 more than they confirmed it for - £500 more than the original quote!! Absolute joke and waste of my time. WILL NEVER use again. Their advertised prices are a lie and would advise anyone to use another supplier.

Do not use Teletext holidays. I booked a holiday recently and they requested a deposit which I paid. 5 minutes later they came back and said they didnt have the rooms at the hotel for us. They had already taken our deposit and said they would need to book another hotel. We felt we had little choice as we would lose our deposit. We then found that they had charged £800 more for the holiday (for 4 of us) than another company. They refused to honour their price match promise and then refused to refund us. Beware!
