Wish I could give no stars. Beware guys they are shockingly poor in customer dealing. Most horrible experience of my life booking with them which I regret every minute now.

If I could give no stars I would. Do not use Teletext Holidays. The supposedly customer support are rude and consistently lie to you. I have made 5 calls now all promising to resolve my issue within 24 to 48 hours and still after 4 months and numerous hours on the phone my issue isn't sorted. Surely there must be some governing body that stops this from happening. Absolutely shocking and appalling service!

Absolutely awful service crooks and holding us to ransom Booked our holiday in February to New York for my mum and dad's 60th birthdays with them one month to go they explain to us there is a problem with United airlines canceling a flight leading us on for a week after asking us to pay an extra £600 in order to get to New York holding us to ransom during this time and when we explained that being too close to when we are due to go away people don't just have an extra £600 to pay when you've already paid for your holiday. To top it off when we asked for a full refund we were told they would only refund a the cost of the flights and not the hotel so now we are left with no holiday and we will have now lost £1222.48 so stay clear of this horrible company I hope no one else has the displeasure of dealing with this company going forward unbelievably angry.

**Warning**Teletext holidays Do not use teletext holidays under any circumstances! This is the first ever review i have posted for anything....yeah they're that bad. Booked for a large group of 12. After an hour shifting through all the details i agreed with their quote. Teletext took a large deposit (£1200) over the phone from myself, once the confirmation email had been checked. Whilst still on the phone, i was informed this had all been booked/finalised and i should receive my flight confirmation emails. Departing with easyjet, returning with ryanair. I told the sales woman 'Cheryl' I had received the outbound confirmation email but hadn't received the return email from ryanair. She said she would check this and call me back. 2mins later.... Suprise, suprise, the flights had gone up by £15 per person, (i had been checking on ryanairs flights page throughout......they were the same price. Pinocchio went on to put me onto her line manager 'Darren' who waded in with more BS and would (do me a favour!) making it £10 exrta per person. I kindly declined giving these con-men/women/convicts an extra £120. I managed to cancel the payment coming out of my bank. **Quick tip when making the payment request their 6 digit authoursation code from the payment** your bank will need this. Otherwise please save your time and money by using someone else.

My wife and I booked a holiday to Egypt in April 19 for travel march 20 . The carrier (Thomas Cook) went bust . We are now 3 months in and still waiting for a refund ! I've just come off the phone with them telling me that they are waiting for a refund from their suppliers before they will refund me ! I was under the impression that my contract was with Teletext directly NOT the suppliers ! NEVER EVER AGAIN ! Do NOT book with these robbers !

Substandard, incompetence, chaotic and zero customer service. I booked a holiday to Cyprus with Teletext holidays. Instead of larnaca airport which was the location of the accommodation they booked flights to paphos. After a week of phone calls the accommodation was changed to paphos but I was charged extra in comparison to the price on their website. I cancelled the accommodation and was told I would get a refund in 4 working days. 1 week later and I am still trying to get my money back. They say they will call you back but never do. I emailed their customer support 3 times and am still awaiting a reply. In total I have made 15 calls to Teletext and still I have not got anywhere. Worst company I have the displeasure to encounter. DO NOT BOOK with this cowboy company unless you want a stressful experience!!!!

Tried to book a weeks holiday to Gran Canaria for February 2020. The guy went through all the sales procedure and then when we got to the bottom line he had added in excess of £200. I asked him how he arrived at this figure his answer was that there were only 3 seats left on the plane and the airline had increased the cost. Told him I didn't believe him and put the phone down, he then rang me back several times to say he could now get us over £200 discount. UTTER RUBBISH !!

When booking the price was higher than the website so he told he would ip grade us to a double room with a balcony arrived and twin room with no balcony. The car hire did not include information regarding he could.pany on arrival and the need to take credit card in name of the driver so have paid extra 100 euros. Rang teletext who said the conversation of upgrade never happened. Interestingly during our booking Nadui said just incase we get cut off here is my number and then we got cut off!!! New we shouldn't have trusted it. Shame on you spoiling peoples long deserved holiday

PLEASE AVOID ANY DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY....booked my holiday thru them but on a higher price from what I initially saw on their website after them saying that its not available anymore,blah,blah... so paid for it and was told to wait within 48 hours for confirmation of booking. However the worst is yet to come..someone rang again after 30min. or so , saying that I need to pay an additional 30 pounds ( had paid my holiday in full at this point) as apparently the room is not available already!! I stood my ground and said that I've already paid them (done deal already) to the price that we agreed initially....so should not be my fault at all at this point. However, the man on the other end suddenly became rude ( trust me, very rude..seems very used to dealing with customers who are upset or annoyed at this same scenario) saying that they can only refund me my money but will take up to 5 working days which leave me with no better option as I need to wait for my money before i could book another holiday from another company which most likely become more expensive or not available at all..this company is very dodgy, I truly now wish that I've read the review first before giving them my money..

I booked a holiday after 24hrs also no confirmation. When asked, excuses were not enough seats available and ruined my son's birthday. The money wasn't refunded as promised by 3-5 working days. Called after 7days and the call was transferred to three people to get an unprofessional answer from a man called Jimmy. Sorry its taking long time as Thomas Cook gone insolvency. What is it to do with this company??? As thomas cook was an established company before it shut down. Then again I have to beg for my hard earned money to be refunded. Again taking 3-5 working days, that means, my money 15 days in their account. Where is the logic and justification of this company with no reputation.. So please, any UK resident wishes to go for a holiday, do not choose this corrupted, cheating company as I had two bad experience in last 90 days.

Having seen a fantastically priced 1 week holiday in a rather nice hotel on their website I decided to call and book it. That particular date and price was "fully booked" when speaking to the sales lady - she then tried to upsell me another hotel in the same area but at a higher price - which I kindly declined and stated I would go back online and peruse further- she would not let me get off the phone - after 3 other attempts to get me to book the hotels not of my choice and 40 minutes later - low and behold she said that she had found an upgrade - sea views - apartment at the hotel I initially wanted. Along with the upgrade came a higher price - then the luggage , then the transfer ... but I was at my witts end and my husband told me to go for it .... so what started off as a cheap week away at around £500 cost almost £900. At the end of her sales pitch while she was clapping her hands at her gained commission from my sale she then started to run through the terms and conditions at a speed I have never heard before ... I hadnt a clue what she had said but she then asked if I agree ... so I said "No .. I haven't heard what you said - its taken 40 minutes to seal the deal at least speak at a speed that I can understand what you are stating". She finished by saying that these terms would be readable in the confirmation text she was sending out .... so Crikey knows what on earth I was supposed to do with that piece of information! When we arrived at the hotel room .... all else went fine ... the room was NOT a sea view - in fact the view was right into another apartments window .... and you had to crane your neck skywards off the balcony to see what the weather was doing! The hotel were very accommodating and helpful but could only offer me the room which teletext had reserved for me .... we did eventually upgrade but only after paying the hotel a further 124 euros for 3 nights in a room with a sea view ... It was beautiful - but felt cheated and rather unhappy at being duped by Teletext in the first place. A couple we met at the hotel were also in the same rooms as we were originally, had arrived the same day, were staying for the same duration and had also gone through teletext ... but at a slightly cheaper rate of ... £500!! Imagine my anger at having learnt this! On our return home I phoned to complain only to be informed all complaints were only accepted via e mail or at their office address in writing. I can assure you that I have complained to Teletext - as yet unanswered - all receipts attached - so no excuses from them should be heard as delaying tactics - but I doubt - given what I have read in this forum, that I will be successful in getting even the extra 124 euros we paid back as an apology from them. Maybe I should have listened to gut instinct when 1st booking ....... Oh well, lets see what pans out with them after they finally get back to me in response. But rest assured - no more holidays via teletext in future!!
