“A thorough yet accessible course with so much useful information. I’d recommend it without hesitation. Lots of detailed points that as a qualified teacher still made me really think about and empathise with ESL students. Thank you to the staff for their help and support”

“This was a very good. Course. The mix of text with videos with class demonstrations made it easier to follow along. It was very well written. Each part of the tests felt well covered, ensuring you are actually prepared. I recommended it to many others who want to get the certification.”

“I found this course really useful. I have some classroom experience as an English language assistant, so it was good for me to learn more about essential grammar, phonetics and how language courses are structured, as well as do's and don't's in the classroom. I wouldn't recommend this as a stand-alone course for someone planning to teach English abroad because it doesn't include classroom experience. The sample lesson videos were really good, though, showing examples of best practice to emulate. You could really appreciate what it takes to do the job of a TEFL teacher from these, and how much preparation must be required.”

“I had previously taught English in Thailand and Italy. so I already knew the basic information. They provided interesting information on the west ways to teach advanced grammar. I undertook this tefl to teach in China and it was accepted by the Chinese Embasy ( who have strict qualifying criteria).”

“I loved this course! Even though I've been teaching English for 8 years, there were still a lot of things that I learned from it (more of the formalities, if anything). It could be improved by some more visuals but, as many people have suggested in their reviews, using text-to-voice helped a lot in that regard. I feel that this course strongly sets people up to succeed in the field of teaching English. Thanks, TEFL UK! I greatly look forward to applying what I learned :)”
