“The 120 hr course is awesome. But would have loved to have downloadable resources for students to refer to them whenever stuck. The videos summarize the contents very well but those who pay attention to everything else, see the Presenter as being in the same place and the same attire throughout which doesn't add variety to the presentation. I don't know if I might have done poorly on the tests to get a mere pass. But if not, then giving a pass is not good enough motivation”

“It was a nice course with valuable information about online teaching which some of the teachers that are just starting their careers may find interesting. I really enjoyed the module about the qualities of a competent and effective online teacher.”

“This was a great TEFL course for me! It was so useful to be able to complete it at my own pace and was super easy to come back to at any point without losing my place. Very professionally put together as well, I feel like I learned so much through the process. Would genuinely recommend to anyone.”

“I just finished the TEFL UK course, and I couldn't be happier with how well-designed it was. The course gave me a thorough and in-depth examination of the fundamentals and ideal methods for instructing English as a foreign language. “Undertaking the 240hr Combined TEFL Course was an extremely valuable and life-changing experience! Not only did the course give me the confidence to become a future TEFL teacher but it also gave me a far better idea of the type of teacher I wanted to be. For anyone wishing to become a newly qualified TEFL teacher, the 240hr Combined Course is a must!”

“It was a very good and comprehensive course. I enjoyed the videos as well. What was a bit disappointing is that upon completion I couldn‘t be offered a job in Hong Kong because I was not a native speaker. I have a degree in translation and studied in English, so I don‘t see any reason for why I cannot teach English.”

“Over the summer, I started off on a journey to discover my prospects and possible interest in teaching as a career. Some of this motivation was intrinsic, but I did have friends, my supervisor and even family prompting me towards exploring the possibility in a world where I only know few people that want to be teachers. I decided to take a few courses to check my interest, as well as, aid my transition from being a full time researcher into practical teaching. One of the course which I undertook was the 170 hr TEFL UK course which included 20 hrs of supervised teaching practice. Over the course of 3 months, I learned that I do have a strong desire to teach. I did learn a lot of relevant skills I believe I would use as an ESL teacher or teacher of any subject frankly, however, I would say the most rewarding part of my journey was being able to volunteer my time towards supporting TEFL UK in empowering Ukrainian refugees by teaching them English as a second language, and seeing how this enabled these displaced individuals integrate with the society they found themselves in. My hope is to continue to find fulfilment on this journey of learning and educating wherever it takes me. I do think this might be my little way to touch the world positively, one mind at a time. I would recommend TEFL UK to any education enthusiast who would consider teaching English or in English language for sure!”

“I worked with TEFL UK in my process of getting a job with EPIK to teach English in South Korea. I loved my experience working with them. When I first registered for their TEFL course, they were quick to respond to me and assign me a coordinator to help me with my job placement and act as a recruiter for me. Her name was Lisa! She was also very kind and quick to respond. The courses themselves were well organized and I felt I had a lot to gain as the courses were very insightful. Not only did I learn about the principles of teaching, but I learned about how to overcome different challenges I would be facing abroad. Once my courses were completed, Lisa helped me as I arranged my job interviews. She acted as a liason for me. Upon receiving my job offer in South Korea, TEFL UK and Lisa remained there to help me. Even now their offers to assist me in any way are standing. I highly recommend going through TEFL UK! As an English teacher now, I use those things they taught me. 10/10 experience!”
