“I thought that the processes were clear along with the online access. My tutor was very quick in answering any queries and marking work. My main area of concern was that some of the points raised by my tutor, e.g. in Asia, you would near a different (non-verbal) approach, were not evident in the materials as all of the video demonstrations were from Scotland.”

“The training itself is worthwhile and I’m glad to have done it, however, I think the program needs an update to be more in line with best practices in teaching and a better delivery system, such as canvas, some of the teaching demos are extraordinarily long and it can get a little boring. Farther, it would be nice to have models for the assignments.”

“The course was very good, I feel much more prepared to teach an English lesson and I'm excited now to apply for summer jobs or teaching online to get experience while I finish my university degree. I was also very happy with the customer service in terms of the live chat feature and the actual feedback times being really good.”

“Hello, Overall the course was a good introduction to teaching english as a foreign language. I do feel that some of the quizzes were confusing in how the questions were worded. And, I didn't feel quite prepared for the written assignments when they came up. But, my tutor was great in providing feedback for my written assignments. Even when I passed on the first time around, the suggestions provided were very helpful. So, for an introduction, the courses in the 120-hour setup was good.”

“The process of completing the 120-hour premier certification course was wonderful. I truly appreciate the option to complete this on my own and to not be tied to a classroom setting with set hours. It allowed me the freedom to study for 1 hour at a time or to work on courses for 5 hours. I appreciate the flexibility. I am also in love with the students who allowed themselves to be recorded for classtime examples. The teachers that you used for the video examples were also fantastic. My favorite videos were the ones showing the "bad example" of teaching, in which I litereally laughed out loud. My ownly issue with the process is the website itself. What would have been SUPER is to have an app so that I could have completed courses while on the move with my current job or while I was settling in for the night. Having used several apps to study Mandarin and French, I know that it is possible to create such a product! I've used DuoLingo, Rosetta Stone, HelloChinese, etc. I cannot imagine that it would be too difficult to offer a product similar, and with ease of use. Other than that, I really enjoyed this process. Thank you! I've referred this product to my daughter who is also seeking to teach ESL.”

“I have done many courses online but Tefl English teaching course was a great experience because it was very interesting on every step, example videos were a great experience and so much detail on every step that teaching English becomes so much easier and another important factor was online classes, that gives another great experience because Angie my teacher was very polite and very humble, she gave us knowledge in a very friendly way. I will highly recommend to everyone to take this experience to learn new skills.”
