“I did TEFL as part of school and found it very helpful in learning how to teach english as a foreign language. I completed the 120 hour course which i was able to do without needing an extension, and i received educational feedback from my tutor, who was also very fast at marking my assignments.”

“TEFL Org offer a good and comprehensive 130 hr online certificate. I found the 30-hr weekday course particularly good. The instructor was very comfortable with the material and we moved through the various modules at a good pace but without compromising on detail. There were plenty of games and back-and-forth which kept it fresh and engaging. The other courses that are bundled into the 130 hr certificate ensure you have a thorough grounding in EFL instruction: grammar, teaching methadologies, and video observation of real-life lessons.”

“The 5 courses that I have completed were very well structured and meaningful. The lessons and classroom examples were really exciting to me. In particular I have enjoyed working on the quizzes - which while some seemingly very easy were actually crafted very well to embed itself in my mind. A couple of things that I wasn’t particularly pleased with were that assignments worked on were not automatically saved. I lost at least a couple of work especially when the programme hanged and I refreshed the system thus losing everything . Secondly once the screen is minimised it actually cuts out some parts of the whole layout. Without realising that I almost wasted this course by not realising that I hadn’t completed 4 out of my 5 courses till 2 weeks before expiry. Luckily I checked my courses and realised that in the nick of time. My two sens worth. Thank you nonetheless. I enjoyed the courses.”

“The course I took, TEFL for Young Learners, was very straightforward and easy to understand. The course gave me alot of valuable resources for teaching Young learners, and really contributed to my own methodology for teaching. The only downside is that your tutor may take the maximum time to mark assignments, so plan your studies accordingly. Don't bank on your tutor immediately marking your assignments, try and finish the course with a decent amount of time left. Otherwise, I would recommend this course to advanced TEFL teachers, who already have a baseline experience with TEFL. This course functions by building on and referencing common knowledge associated with a basic TEFL Course.”

“I just completed the Tefl 120 hrs course it was fun and interesting. Due to the offered mixture of "material" it never got boring. The videos demonstrating how to teach and which methods you can use were super interesting. The quizzes helped to review the chapters and the assignments as well as the tutors feedback gave me the feeling of progressing and being capable of teaching classes. I highly recommend this course.”

“I am writing to formally express my frustration regarding my experience with the final assignment evaluation in the TEFL course. Having now failed this assignment six times despite my extensive revisions and incorporation of feedback, I am left feeling that no matter how much effort I put forth, I will not be able to pass. The situation has become both exasperating and, frankly, comical, as it seems like a cycle of wasted time and unproductive efforts. My concerns primarily stem from the feedback I have received, which has been vague, unclear, and at times, riddled with grammatical and spelling errors—an ironic situation given the nature of the course. I have completely reworked the assignment multiple times, integrating the suggested changes, yet I continue to receive failing marks without a clear understanding of what is lacking. This process has led me to question the credibility of both the course and my assigned tutor. For context, I have been a practicing professor at [Leading College in Canada] for nearly 20 years. I mention this not as an assertion of infallibility, but to provide perspective on why this experience has been so perplexing. The course itself has been informative, and I have gained valuable insights to apply in my teaching; however, the assignment evaluation process has overshadowed these positives. At this point, I would like to request an independent review of my assignment by another evaluator. If a fresh perspective identifies continued shortcomings in my work, I will accept the feedback with humility and make the necessary adjustments. However, if my concerns about inconsistent or ineffective grading are validated, I would like to escalate this issue further. Please advise on the next steps for addressing this matter. I appreciate your prompt attention to my concerns and look forward to your response.”

“The TEFL course does provide a strong foundation for teaching English. However, there are a few areas that could be improved to enhance the learning experience: 1 The videos are outdated and should be refreshed. 2. Adding subtitles to the videos would also be helpful. 3. Audio quality in some of the lessons could be improved. It’s often difficult to hear the students clearly. Despite these points, the course is great!”

“It has been one of the best English courses I have ever taken. Even though I consider I am really good at grammar, the module helped me to sharpen some concepts. I wasn't very good at punctuation symbols, and this subjet in the course enhanced my knowledge. Now I am more confident. PPP and ESA plan structures have been completely new for me, and I consider they are very useful in planning a lesson. In general, the Methodology course has been very useful for me and I will use lots of its concepts in my profession as an ESL teacher. I think that teaching phonology to students is very difficult for them to understand. What I will do is to focus on symbols which I consider are the most important to teach, and help students improve pronunciation: (I apologize but I don't have the means to write these symbols here) schwa sound, ch sound, j sound, sh, sound, ing sound, th [think] sound and vision sound. Telephone teaching has been a new and great course that will be very useful for my plans to teach from my place to people who are at long distance from me; I love it! In general I am very satisfied with this 200 hour course and I will fully recommend it to anyone who wants to enhance his teaching process or to the ones that would like to become an English teacher.
