“Great experience doing my TEFL qualification with TEFL org. After researching, finally decided to do their Level 5 Diploma. Course well set out and also plenty of time given to complete course. They offer a range of courses to suit your needs. Courses also very well priced.”

“I had already some experience in teaching English and wanted to officially improve my practice. The 120 hours course was not annoying. It was interesting in terms of teaching technics. I would have appreciated to know more on class management (which is my main concern). Teaching large class was good. However I would have expected a more detailed course. On the positive side I really appreciated my tutor (Thomas)'s valuable feedback.”

“Good course content and generally well presented. Some topics seem to be dealt with very briefly, and I suppose that is the benefit of an in person class where discussion would have been generated. I had a excellent personal tutor who responded and marked assignments, promptly and with good relevant feedback”

“Really good course which taught me a wide range of grammatical knowledge and teaching skills. My tutor, was excellent at giving great feedback really quickly. The main problem I had with this course was that there were several classroom videos (20-30minutes long) in places where I felt a 5 minute video would have sufficed, it made me take much longer than I needed to and frankly watching for 30 minutes was tedious. I am not talking about the video observation course I did, more the grammar and methodolgy course. I appreciate videos are important to watch, but I genuinly feel that several of the videos could easily have been edited more concisely.”

“I did like the videos, instructions, exams, and quick feedback. I did not like that the assignment was too rigid about the word count and that you could not upload your word or PDF document but instead needed to copy and paste the content. Overall, I learned a lot from this course. I cannot provide detailed feedback since this was a 30 hour course, not a 40 hour course.”

“Overall, the course was good, clear and easy to work through online. I felt it lacked a bit in overall production 'slickness', seemed dated in parts. The sample 'bad lesson' videos I found a bit awkward/cringey to watch, but perhaps that was the intention. Finally, navigating your website is a bit clunky - the course itself was generally OK to move around but the rest of site didn't feel intuitive at times.”

“It was a very informative and interactive course. I enjoyed doing it and I learnt a lot. The sections were broken down into manageable blocks and there was good variety (text, videos, quizzes, assignments). The tutors were excellent, with quick and constructive feedback.”

“Hello! My American friend recommended that I take this course. She said that she liked it. I really enjoyed the course. I especially liked that I could take my time and do it according to my pace. I took the notes, but I wish the course materials were available to view after the completion (to refresh my memory). The TEFL team has been helpful and accommodating throughout this journey. “Absolutely loved this course (198hr Level 5) The lessons were varied, I was able to study around family, work and health. The support was excellent and tutors very helpful and encouraging. I've enrolled in a more specific course as I enjoyed the experience so much!”

“I am a little disappointed in the course, considering this is an English course, the amount of spelling mistakes and other errors, in the course material was shocking. Some of the questions in the assessments were written very poorly, and it was unclear about what was actually required in the answer. I understand the 48 hours to mark assignments, but when I emailed my tutor for guidance (usually about what she's actually wanting as a question answer), it would take at least 48 hours for a reply, which normally by that point I'd already submitted, and had it marked, before receiving a reply. If we were having a conversation via email, it would take a week or more to communicate, even if I replied instantly to my tutor, I dont think that's acceptable, and if that's how I treated clients in my job, I would be sacked. Overall, I'm not happy and won't be recommending to others.”

“Well structured course. I learnt s lot and I feel I am ready to start teaching. It’s good to go at own peace and be able to review lessons. The only thing that was a bit annoying for me was waiting until the Tutor answered a question as sometimes I just had to wait until I could continue.”

“I undertook this course because I needed to have a EAL certificate. I did find it very interesting but a lot of the content was directed towards people who perhaps were not teachers so it was a little patronising for me. I am very pleased to have passed the course.”

“I was impressed with the amount of detail that went into the programme. I was, however, distracted with the one tutor, who uses SO many gestures in the video that I prefered to just read the transcipt while she spoke, rather than watch. There is, understandably, a lot of repetition, which re-enforces the learning point. My tutor, Alex, was always quick in marking my assignments and provided useful additional content.”
