“I just wanted to say to Tina, at the Upminster branch, thank you to both yourself and Claire Townsend (Independent Celebrant) for what, despite the circumstances, can only be described as a wonderful send off for our Mum, Sandra.
We first visited you at your Hornchurch branch, where despite this being your first few days with Cribbs, you were ever the professional ensuring that everything was explained clearly from the cost of everything to the finer details for the service. Asking things that we probably wouldn’t have thought of, like perfume and fingerprints for Mum. My only regret is that, despite you being fully qualified, you were unable to conduct on the day. Lets hope that Cribbs come into the 21st Century and allow women to conduct as well as men. The offer of 'Out of Hours' viewing should also be offered for those who are unable to visit during your office hours of 9 to 5.
I would also like to say how caring and thoughtful Claire Townsend, the celebrant for the day, was. From the moment we met with her to discuss the service details, to the day and after we couldn’t have asked for more. She will definitely be our choice as occasions arise.
All in all both yourself and Claire made what is a horrible experience into a calm, caring and happier time.

“On the 13th July T Cribbs and sons gave my mother Theresa a superb send off the cars were on time and immaculate the staff were amazing polite and brilliant at there job. Marcus took the time to phone me the day before the service to go through what would be happening on the day of the service . We could not have asked for more . “Hi, I think that considering how much money that Cribbs is worth and how much it cost for Funerals that it’s a Rip off to charge people to visit their dead relatives in your chapel off ready and also to leave photos or letters to place in the Coffin. Never heard such a extra way off making money out off people’s grief, I’ve known Stan for many years and was a Family friend who was brought up with my family as a Child it’s disgusting. Maybe it will buy Cribbs a extra Limo!!!!!”

Every funeral director is required to list items of service now by law, you will find this by looking at our competitors. “I would like to say to everyone at Cribbs in Upminster a huge thank you for everything you did for my Mum and 8 months later my Dad bless him. A huge thank you to Dawn for doing an incredible job she came highly recommended at Cribbs for her meticulous planning and first-class professionalism at all times. I’m so grateful she made my life so much easier given that I’d only just recently lost my mum. She thinks ok complete control and I can’t begin to thank you enough for everything that you did for Dad. The four white horses and the white coach was breathtaking everyone in Upminster in the high street stopped to watch the horses go by. Thank you especially to Jack and all the guys for being so kind to me and my family for being so sensitive to our feelings, for being there for us and for holding that precious space for us. Everything was completely perfect it might seem a bit strange to describe it as magical but it really was. Lastly, I’d like to say thank you to Jack and his colleague who came for Mum and then 8 months later for dad for being so incredibly sensitive and caring and arriving so promptly during the most difficult of times that we were all experiencing then. “I'm torn between the ratings here, because, on the day, the guys were brilliant. Everything else was shocking. The night my Dad passed, it took me over an hour to get through to Cribbs, no one was answering any of the numbers i was calling! My mother and i had to sit in the lounge looking at my dead father, trying frantically to get through! We eventually got through on a number i stumbled across online. The next problem, was the orders of service, that had spelling mistakes, and a poem that read she instead of he, making it extremely difficult for my daughters to read at the service. For a company that has been trading for so long, and even had a TV programme, they are only as good as you find them, and i would not personally recommend them.”
