I want to say a massive thank you to both Denise and Bill at Debden branch, from the first phone call through to the day of my nieces celebration of life, and beyond Denise has been there every step of the way. Your compassion, kindness, empathy and hugs have been unmeasurable and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We also felt at peace in Cribbs, always made to feel welcomed, had all of our wishes met and generally couldn't have asked for more and we know our beloved Georgia was taken care off with the utmost dignity and respect. We would like to thank Toppy who was conductor on the day, he helped to make everything go smoothly and carried out all requests we had for Georgias final journey and the respect shown to us all really was heartfelt, again we felt so at ease with all the staff at Cribbs. “We recently had our mums funeral on Monday 26th February.
They went above and beyond to make our mums funeral very special . We had horses and carriage for her and the attention to detail was phenomenal.. nothing was too much trouble and she was given an extremely dignified send off !
Thank you especially to Lesley , the coordinator who works at the Rainham branch . She was extremely helpful with delivery issues with our floral tributes. She is very professional but compassionate. Also a big thank you to Ed from the Benfleet branch , who too was extremely helpful with organising the funeral with ease . Thank you all so much .”

“T.Cribb and sons have always been a big part of the east end. My family moved out of London many years ago now but still wouldn’t use anyone else for trusting them with a loved one. We visited the main office in Beckton in 2017 and met Ellie who was an absolute angel, for a young lady she really is experienced in her role. The darkest time she brought us light and humour and really went above and beyond. Fast forward to 2024 we visited the Canning Town office to see our dear cousin in the chapels of rest and who greets us at the door? Ellie! We were so happy to see her again, it was such a comfort to see a face we knew. I hope it’s not any time in the future that we have to make funeral arrangements, but I hope when the day comes we will meet you again Ellie. Thank you for your patience and kind heart. From the first day my Uncle and I visited her to start arranging my late Queens home going celebration of life she was so helpful, kind and caring. Mary communicated with me all the time and always took time to listen to all the attention to detail I requested for my Queen.
As my mama means the world to me I had to ensure everything was done so it was fit for the Queen my mother was. My Queen had the most beautiful send off and I know she would have loved it. “We used Cribbs to look after my Dad after he died on Christmas Eve. They are so professional and delightful to work with, that I felt so much better knowing he was in their care. Their beautiful premises in Beckton is so welcoming, and it was much better to arrive and be able to gather in the lounge rather than outside in the freezing cold. We chose to have the service and the wake at their Beckton premises and so many people commented on what a fabulous set up that was, very comfortable, but also no need to drive from one premises to another. Nothing was too much trouble. They printed the order of service which was so lovely. From the staff at Cribbs, to the catering and most wonderful service by the minister Derek, the whole thing gave my Dad the best send off we could have hoped for. I know he would have loved it. Highly recommend, and considering how special the place is and the many years of experience they offer, the price is very competitive.”
