“Stayed during half term.Lovely large farmhouse, accommodated all the family. Spent majority of time in the large farmhouse kitchen in the evening after dinner. Very welcoming hosts, made you feel at home. Everyone enjoyed watching the cows at milking time and learnt a lot about the process. Very secluded lovely surroundings. Everyone had a good time.”

“Although some things in the property either need updating or replacing, it was clean and comfortable for us to stay there. We stayed at this property twice this year. And we would use it again in the future .
Driveway was ideal as we didn't need to use the car, we walked down to the harbour, beach ect, which is about 10 minutes. Rear garden was good for our dog as he likes playing outside. Shop and supermarket just up the road for supplies or fuel. Like any property I stay in. I go prepared with bedding, my pillow,toilet roll, loo covers, blanket and pegs if curtains are thin. We have enjoyed our two stays there, and location very handy.”
“Our last stay at Beech Cottage in Scales Cumbria was well below expectations. The property was very " tired". We felt that the price in no way reflected the facilities on offer. The weekly price should in our opinion be around £200, no more! Is there any recourse and do you as a company investigate complaints and report back??”

“Lovely secluded chalet with expansive countryside views. So peaceful.
Reasonably well equipped but a couple of sharper knives and larger wine glasses would have been good. There wasn't a mop and bucket, so we couldn't do a midweek kitchen floor clean.
There were a couple of other maintenance issues that couldn't be addressed whilst we were there. Nice welcome pack though. We had some wild storms whilst we were there and even the patio furniture was blown around, but the chalet remained cosy and warm.
The walk across the field into Cawsand is great going down, but wouldn't like to do it in the dark and up hill on the way back, so we ate at the chalet in the evening, but did enjoy a scrumptious lunch at the Devonport pub in Kingsand which has fabulous views overlooking the bay.

“Very stylish house in a quiet area just minutes from the centre of Inverness. We had everything we needed, from kitchen facilities to brochures for good restaurants and the internet connection was perfect. The rooms were well heated and there was always hot water.

“11 Knock was a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was very clean and warm. Everything we wanted was there. Iain, the landlord, was extremely helpful, phoning in advance to confirm the cottage was ready. He was also up to date with ferry crossings to Stornaway and was an excellent source of advice when the ferry was delayed due to bad weather.
The cottage was ideally placed to visit lots of sites in Lewis and Harris. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.”
