“Mar Lodge more than fulfilled our expectations. Braeriach is amazing accommodation within a wonderful building in an amazing setting. Everything is to an excellent standard. If you are at all interested in what is happening in the Cairngorms, it really doesn't make sense to go anywhere else.”
“Excellent location and accommodation with modern facilities. Only serious issue related to lack of grab rail which made accessing the shower over the bath somewhat tricky.”
“Bradley House, Ilfracombe was a great getaway place for my daughter's hen party weekend. 2 generations, 8 people, with everyone having en-suite bedrooms. Spacious, well equipped and a great place for a chilled out weekend.
A 30 minute leisurely walk to the town centre and harbour. A great meal on Saturday evening at ' Giovanni and Luca's '. An enjoyable breakfast was had at 'The Admiral Collingwood 'on Sunday morning before the drive home.
Highly recommend.”
“Chris welcomed us to the property and showed us around to help us settle in easily. He was also very prompt when we had any queries.
This is a superb holiday property, in a very picturesque area. It is comfortable, well appointed and modernised throughout.
We all enjoyed our stay here despite quite a lot of rain!
Many thanks Chris and Sally, for the use of your lovely property.”
“A lovely house, comfortable, cosy, warm. Well provided with furniture, towels, kitchen equipment etc and car park space front and back. The Blairmore Gift shop and cafe about 20 yards away. Great coffee and food and friendly, polite and efficient staff.
The location is stunning, looking eastwards across the Firth of Clyde. Lovely sunrises, birds, boats, submarine and dolphins, all were seen. Quiet. Surrounded by beautiful lochs, Glens and mountains.
Pier View is a lovely cottage in a great area and a great base for walking and touring.”
“We had a lovely stay at the Mistal, the cottage was lovely & the views from the French doors was gorgeous, just what we wanted it was perfect, we were unlucky with the weather, but the views made up for it.”
“We had a wonderful stay at Rainbow View.
Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a freshly baked loaf of bread and some lovely additional goodies, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The accommodation was well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and beautifully styled throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the decor was tasteful and inviting. Our three dogs also had a fantastic time enjoying the secure, brick-weave garden area.
The only small downside was that the garden could use a bit of TLC. The brick-weave was quite overgrown with weeds, which meant debris was easily brought into the house, and the flower pots would have benefited from some planting.
Although Neil and Anna lived next door, they were very respectful of our privacy and only chatted with us when we happened to see them, which was really nice.
Overall, we had a truly lovely stay and our only wish was to have stayed a little longer.
Thank you!”
“The property was great - spacious, reasonably well-equipped and delightful location. We loved staying there - a very nice, relaxing weekend with old friends.”
“What a fabulous quirky cottage to stay in. Lovely and warm and comfortable, and something new to discover in every room. So convenient for the steam railway station, bus stops and walk through the park to the beautiful Howarth village. Also could walk from the cottage onto the moors. Would definately stay again and highly recommended.”
“We would definitely recommend this property. It is very spacious with all rooms bigger than the photos indicate. The games room was a real plus as the weather proved to be cool and changeable in the week we stayed.”
