“The perfect bolt hole from which to explore Dartmoor and beyond. The accommodation is spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished. Ideal for a couple with a dog. The beautiful vase of spring flowers was a very welcoming touch. Our spaniel enjoyed having access to the field opposite for those essential runs and ball games! We hope to stay longer than our three days next time.”

Only problem I had as I have not got good knees was the hill down to cottage from parking car but that was my problem 🙁. Recommend The Bluebell at South Wingfield for Sunday lunch great food need to book though”
“Contact with the owner was great - we were able to get into the cottage a little early and when we encountered a problem with the gate it was sorted quickly. The cottage is stylishly decorated and very comfortable and clean. We were impressed with the welcome pack which included milk in the fridge. The cottage is ideally suited for the pretty harbour with decent pubs, lovely cafes, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed being able to walk from the cottage along the coast. It’s a beautiful part of England.”
