“The Croft is a well equipped place to stay. Its light and bright. Dog friendly too. Lovely enclosed garden with a bench, table and chairs and sunloungers.
Walks to two pubs within 15mins. Good food in both.”
“Cornish Views is finished to a very high standard and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Pam and Colin were very welcoming upon our arrival. We felt so relaxed there and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s set in a great location for exploring Cornwall with wonderful views from the upstairs bedroom.”

“We arrived at the chalet after crossing the small bridge to the chalet very disappointing the grass was hi the chalet could do with some TLC inside and out we entered the chalet lots of furnishings were old and tired opened the back door and gras was foot high we couldn't use the picnic beanch I not wanted to go back home ,it wasn't like the picture my husband said let's give it ago , had to wash pans and cutlery the pans are so old and worn out not happy at all I thought sykes cottages let us down this time definitely won't be going back again £700 pounds not worth it”
“The cottage was in a lovely area and the hosts had left everything inside the cottage that we could have needed from milk in the fridge to welcome cookies and ironing boards to cleaning products also hairdryer, iron and vacuum cleaner!
There were a few minor issues such as quite a few cobwebs on the beams, very low water pressure (getting a shower was like standing under a dripping tap lol) there wasn't a games room as detailed in the description and also the tv didn't have a dvd as described.
The single beds were a bit uncomfortable as the mattresses were harder than ours at home so there was a change to our sleeping bodies which showed the following morning with groans of aches and pains!
The refurbished interior decor was a lot better than the original pictures and we feel that these should be updated as they make the cottage much more appealing!
The outside light and guttering could probably benefit with a good clean down tho! ;-)
We didn't get to see much of the hosts as we were too busy visiting various places of interest like Bodmin Jail, Fistral Beach, Restormel Castle, Boscastle, Tintagel, etc but they did wish us a safe journey home on the last day!

“We had a great week at Nivarna the house is very well eqipped with excellent downstair space .
Two things were disappointing .The twin bedroom was much smaller than we thought it would be ,ok for kids but very cramped for 2 adults .The showers were also not good .The shower in the top bedroom stopped working altogether by the end of the week and although the shower in the en suite was ok there was not a lot of power at times.
For a house that cost over £3000 for a week I would expect decent and reliable showers.”
