“Although the administration by Sykes is usually efficient, I found it impossible to contact anyone by telephone to resolve an unnecessary complication regarding the balance due for our recent stay at Vicarage Cottage, Lucker. This very time consuming, frustrating and annoying experience will undoubtedly affect any future consideration of Sykes. No-one contacted me about the matter which is poor. I will be interested to see if this feedback results in any human contact.”
“Our third visit to Robins Nest, we love the quiet location with plenty of walks for the dog , 2 villages to walk to, Leven is a 15 minute walk and Brandsburton 25 minutes. Small convenient stores in both,chippy , pizza house aswell, we are back in May as we like it so much.”

“Amazing home in a beautiful quiet setting just what we were looking for. From the property we saw Deer, pheasant and the roaming sheep. We heard the owl every night and enjoyed waking to bird song every morning. Beautiful walk less than 10min down to the small jetty and you’re on the edge of coniston lake. We were out of season so it was our own private oasis of peace! Fantastic customer support with a slight boiler problem that happened on our first night - quickly fixed and we enjoyed a lovely cosy home for the week.

“We had a lovely holiday at Aunt Jane's. It was a real home from home with comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen. And lovely and warm despite being there early March. The scenery around is beautiful and if it had been warmer we would have enjoyed using the garden.”
