Another lovely stay at Driftwood Sands. This house is so well equipped, everything you could need. Lovely comfortable beds and great showers. It is in such a great position with the beach just 2 minutes walk away and the Landing round the corner, great to call in for a coffee or something to eat. We will be returning soon

Friendly but not interferring hosts. The cottage was immaculate, although photographs,as usual, made it seem larger. The only items we regretted not bringing with us were cafeteries...if you prefer coffee to instant coffee and a bread knife. The beds were comfortable, the Smart TV easy to use, the pub a matter of yards up the road, the heating was instant, and Salisbury within a short drive.

Bank Cottage is a gem of a find! Thank you for all the little welcoming touches too! We had an amazing week staying there. So comfortable and a great central location, with so much choice of wonderful walks and pubs with delicious food, that welcomed dogs too. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay in Snettisham with the added bonus of beautiful weather. Snettisham is a lovely friendly little village , with lots of walks on your doorstep. We especially loved seeing all the wildlife, from birds of prey to ducks in the front garden. Checkout the quaint little bookshop it's worth a visit.

Sykes is a good company to book with. The property listings are accurate and communication is good. Have booked multiple times and will continue to do so. The only slight problem is printing off some information which is too feint to read. Have reported this before.

Cottage well euipped & cosy, especially when weather is mixed. Lovely views to N,E &W so just sitting around there's always something to look at as the views are changable . Dave is easy to contact & very helpful about walks & where to avoid if driving as roads 'runout'. Great location for an energetic break or a lazy relaxing time. Would recommend

While the houses are nearly always great I am finding your insistence on using the app very frustrating. Today, I wanted to check soemthing with your company and there was nothing on the website that helped me. All I felt at every turn was that you don't want me to have a way to communicate with a human being. I can assure you that I tried many pages and many routes to have my question answered. Which incidentally I had requested on two previous occasions. As a result I am actively telling people that I will actively try to use other sites first before Sykes. I know this will be difficult as you have quite a monopoly. Lets hope your homeowners are happier than me. I suppose in summary I just feel rally disappointed.

A lovely house, clean, and with everything you need. The underfloor heating was wonderful.

This cottage is amazing, It is furnished to a high standard and the hot tub and Sauna are under cover with rattan chairs to sit in which would be amazing when the weather improves. It is located about a 20 minute walk from Richmond and is ideally located if you like walking. We will definitely book to go again. We have stayed in many cottages over the years and the things I wish I had known before going were; No tea and coffee (just a few sachets), no salt and pepper, no kitchen towel, no anti bac wipes to clean surfaces down, no bin bags and no small dish to cook food in. I will ensure I bring these with me next time and this is not meant as a criticism at all, i am just raising awareness as these have always been provided in the cottages we have previously stayed

I truly loved my stay—the welcome snacks were a lovely touch. The cottage exceeded expectations, and the photos are true to life. The space was clean, and the surrounding area is peaceful and picturesque—perfect for long walks. What really sealed it for me was the sauna. I’ve already rebooked for later in the year.

Third time staying at the Walker's Retreat and just as good as ever. This is the perfect base for us as we can do so many different walks from the door without ever moving the car! The apartment is spotlessly clean, very comfortable throughout and has the added benefit of a covered patio/balcony area with great views. Plenty of choice of restaurants in Ambleside too, just a few minutes walk away. What more could anyone want?!! A* all round 👍

Easy website to search for accommodation and just as easy to book. We've already got our next holiday booked.

We found the key collection instructions for the Lodge to be totally inaccurate, as you did not need to acces the grounds to enter the Lodge. This would have saved 30/45 minutes and the stress of being locked in an estate! Without our ability to climb walls we would have stuck in the grounds. When we got into the Lodge is was very clean well appointed. We resolved the issue of the WiFi with their help. The Tv reception was very poor and we had to resort to Prime/Netflix (we are not fans). The Ariel is faulty and needs replacement but could not be done in time for our stay. The Tuesday was a day of rain storms, resulting in a major leak in the kitchen, dining area and second bedroom, in fact you could not have slept in this bedroom as it was so wet! Having looked at the kitchen cabinets it was obvious there had been leaks before. We informed our contact and sent pictures and video, to be told that they would let maintenance know? We decided to vacate the lodge on Wednesday as we were concerned re the damp, poor weather forecast and my wife suffered bronchitis when we stayed in a damp house before. Whilst we appreciate that the owners cannot control the weather, we would have expected a more proactive response from them! It meant we lost over half our holiday! There was nowhere away from the damp for our dog crate where our dog sleeps. We look forward to hearing from you. Also we do suggest a towel rail in the bathroom and some hooks for coats etc.

Have booked several holiday cottages through Sykes and as a rule have been very pleased. However I would say that trying to contact Sykes isn't always easy working through their phone menu. I did try WhatsApp to contact them but found generic answers were given which were no help at all.

Had a great week walking in the Shropshire Hills with a base at Milford Tree Tops. Very good value for money. Very comfortable bed, lovely shower, basic but reliable cooking equipment. Valerie and David helpful and friendly. As was Sam the Labrador! Lovely quiet location and a good walk to nearby Swan Inn, but make sure you bring your torch!

Easy to search online and book but I've found that I can't get through to them on their contact number, just on hold for ages so I gave up!

We have recently returned from a wonderful week at Glan Y Don Bach. Great communications and information from Ffion prior to our visit. The cottage is in a wonderful position in the village with great views and more importantly parking!! The cottage is comfortable, homely and very well stocked. There are numerous great hikes from the door and great places to eat and drink literally on the doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again when in the area. Highly recommend.
