“The property Tullithwaite Garth was good and very well equipped however there were no instructions concerning all the important things e.g WiFi access, cooker use, rubbish disposal, TV usage and towels and linens upon departure. The cottage is very isolated and not easily accessible inside if you have limited mobility issues. We managed to sort everything by trial and error but a handbook with all these items in would be most useful. We loved the welcome boxes.”
“We've always had great service from Sykes but this year we have had two bookings cancelled at short notice and when we tried to contact them by phone regarding the most recent booking it was impossible. Ultimately we ended up with a disjointed Whatsapp conversation over several days to resolve our issue. Having had years of a great service from them we won't be using them again.”
“Our original booking was cancelled by the property owner and an alternative property was offered. We accepted the replacement property but Sykes somehow managed to book the wrong week. It was extremely difficult to speak to anyone on the phone and when we did get through we got a different operator every time and had to go through the whole situation time after time. There was no online facility to explain or rectify the issue. It would make me very wary of booking with Sykes again.”
