“The cottage is lovely, a welcome cream tea and bottle of wine. Toilet is downstairs which is not made clear, but didn't bother us but it did to my 85 year old Father. Yes the garden is enclosed but not secure for bigger dogs. Had a great week, really enjoyed.”
“My fourth visit to Walworth Castle cottages. Never disappoints, well equipped and dog friendly. Bonus is being able to walk the very short distance to the castle for lunch.”
“A very warm and comfortable cottage just big enough for two of us and our little dog. Every thing we needed was there. We enjoyed our welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits and Tilly enjoyed her doggie treats! We were also offered bowls and towels for our dog. The grounds are fenced and the gate has a key pad outside for entry. Please note it is not nextdoor to the Fountain Inn but up the hill on the way out of the village. Quiet and peaceful location. Good walks in the Forest on the doorstep. Lovely meals at the Fountain inn but you do need to book. The owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful. We had a fab few days here and will be back. Thank you.”
“I recently stayed in a house in Foyers for 7 days, and it was a really memorable experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by peaceful nature and stunning views. It’s the perfect place to relax and switch off from busy city life.
The house itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a week-long stay. The rooms were cosy, and the overall atmosphere felt very homely. Waking up to fresh air and quiet surroundings every day was honestly refreshing.
One of the highlights was being close to Loch Ness, which made it easy to explore the area and enjoy some scenic walks. The nearby attractions and natural beauty really added to the whole experience.
The host was also very helpful and responsive, making the stay smooth from start to finish.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Scotland. It’s a great spot for relaxing, enjoying nature, and spending quality time away from the usual routine.”

“The Hyde is lovely and cosy, and we felt very welcome. Everything was very neat and clean. The evenings in the hot tub were really relaxing after great days out in this fantastic area. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The only thing we didn't like was the road. There aren't many cars and it's absolutely alright, but we are just a bit sensitive to noise.
We highly recommend The Hyde to everybody who wants to visit the Cotswolds.”
“Another brilliant stay at Tillys cottage. It's one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in the Lake District. It has everything you need and very cosy on a chilly evening. Its location is excellent for the fells and an evening stroll to the Travellers.”

“The cottage was just as described. It was comfortable whilst being practical for people returning from walks. It was lovely to be in such a traditional one up one down cottage, which is spacious for a couple. The bathroom with bath was very nice.
The property description does say there is a low beam downstairs, my tall partner did need to take care with this.
The village is great, with a very good local shop and pub that does food. We did several local walks, all very beautiful and quiet.”

Loved the welcome pack, you had though of everything bread milk and butter in the fridge throws for when it was cold beautiful rooms and great location was a bit of a hill to walk up to the cottage and some steps in and a nice parking space half way up the hill . We will definitely be back x”
