“No concerns at all about the owner's helpfulness and friendliness and this is important. Caravan was very comfortable with all accessories required. It is the cleanest accommodation I have ever stayed in - and I go away a lot! However, you need to be very careful with the photos. They show an older van in this location with a lovely little gravelled garden with mini garden figures, etc. But, this does not exist owing to the newer, larger van taking up all the space. The figures are dumped in a dirty corner near the door. Images also show this van but in its old location on a very pleasant-looking park. The views all round look lovely in these images but, in fact, when the van was moved to it's current location it is now surrounded by a 6 foot fence, at times, very close to the van, and all views are, effectively absolutely nil. This is really important because I booked the van only for the view. This is false representation. I did mention this in passing to the owner and I believe he was unaware and that it is not done deliberately but it does give an entirely false impression. I was devastated to find no view from the lovely windows and doors at the front of the van. Images show new van in old position on a park and new van in new position showing very close proximity of tall fence.”
“Newton cove view in Weymouth is a superb apartment we have stayed there at least 5 times now and it is superbly appointed place to spend a lovely holiday there with lovely views to Portland at this time of the year it has everything you require for a place to relax in and very close to all the amenities.

“The cottage is quite small despite having 3 bedrooms. We found it a bit grubby with cob webs everywhere and dust and hair under certain furniture. Very good shower and location. Has a parking spot which I imagine is a must for busy periods. I want to give it 3.5 but I can’t so it’s a 3. If the owner reads this and wants evidence I have plenty of pictures”
“Once again Sykes Cottages came up trumps. We stayed in a converted Chapel. The property was well maintained and exactly as described. Looking forward to booking our next trip”
“Our stay was shorter than intented due to a fault with the gas boiler but the staff were excellent in arranging someone to come over early Sunday morning (just over an hour of reporting the fault) to see if they could fix it. When it could not be fixed we were offered an alternative property or refund for the unused days. I will be sure to use Sykes again if we are looking at booking another saty in the Cotswolds.”
“Fantastic holiday at your beautiful bungalow. Plenty of crockery, cookware, bed linen, towels etc. We had problems with the central heating coming on at the wrong time (IE during the night )& couldn't seem to override this. However we really enjoyed our stay & would recommend to others.”
