“Bei Problemen, due aufgetaucht sind warxes schwierig jemanden zu erreichen. Man muß sich durch die ganzen Anrufbeantworter durch wählen press number 1, 2, or 3....und meistens ist das Problem, das man hat dort nicht zu finden. Wichtig ist, das man sich nicht hilflos und alleingelassen fühlt mit einer Personbzu sprechen. Da gibt es für sky cottages noch Luft nach oben, zur Verbesserung. Als ich jemanden erreicht hatte, ich konnte nicht ins Cottage da der Schlüssel nicht da war, war der Service super und man hat sich gekümnert und dann war das Problem auch innerhalb einer Stunde gelöst....nur der Weg bis dahin könnte leichter sein😉”
“The Quarryfield House was the perfect setting for our family getaway and felt like a true luxury escape from the moment we arrived.
This house is beautifully situated, with peaceful views across the surrounding hills. Some of our favorite moments were the simplest ones—waking each morning to birds singing right outside our windows, watching the rain roll toward us across the hills & sipping tea together in the sunroom. This is a place that encourages you to slow down & truly appreciate where you are.
The house itself is incredibly spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally well equipped with essentially every appliance or kitchen item you could possibly need. It made preparing meals and eating together as an extended family so easy.
There was also something for everyone to enjoy, including the tennis court, hot tub, and snooker table (and tv to watch the World Cup). We especially appreciated that the house offered both wonderful family gathering spaces & quieter areas where someone could relax on their own. Everyone could be together without ever feeling crowded.
Even if Quarryfield House is a little larger than your group technically needs, do not let that discourage you. The extra space is part of what makes the stay feel so luxurious and relaxing. Rather than simply being a place to sleep while exploring the Highlands, this house became one of the highlights of our trip & a destination in itself.
We would absolutely recommend Quarryfield House to families or groups looking for a beautiful, peaceful & memorable place to spend time together.”
“A generally good place to stay for our holiday, located very close to beach and St Michaels Mount. There was guite a bit of noise, mostly footfall from the flat above, which seemed to increase as the week went along. This we discovered was down to the flat being prepared for advertising for sale on the market. The hot tub was well maintained, and a welcome relief from the exersions of climbing St Michaels Mount, and general touring around the area. Weather was superb, which is always welcome. Parking was adequate, if somewhat tight to maneouver, especially at the bottom end of the car park.”
“Woodmans Cottage is situated in a nice area of Skipton set back from the main road.Parking can be a problem usually caused by the aggressive woman who owns the beauty parlour!!! The cottage itself is comfortable and well supplied with the things needed.I personally found the bed and pillows too hard for my liking but each to his own! It's a ten minute walk into Skipton town center where it's lively with plenty of shops,cafes not forgetting the Pork Pie emporium which is first class! Altogether a decent weeks holiday.”
“Visited with my family at the end of June for the second time and it was great, all the amenities you need, lovely en-suites & right in a perfect location … opposite the golden rule pub and minutes into town.
The only negative we have is that the upstairs bedroom/ living area got quite warm whilst we were staying and we were unable to change the temperature.
Will defiantly be back for a third stay next year!”

“Lovely stay at Southport Farm cottage, Amber couldn't do enough for us. She left plenty of goodies for us. Throws and towels for the dogs too. The pond and jetty was loved by our lab, even our sheltienwent in swimming watched by the sheep. We loved the hot tub to relax in. Walks close by in the woods to try and keep the dogs cool. Wonderful week we will be back.”
“My friend and I have been using Cherry Lodge for a few years now for our fishing trips at least twice a year. The property has always been very clean and tidy and smells nice when you first open the door.
I do not know what other people expect of a holiday let but for us it is very nice and comfortable.
Plus the owner Valerie is a very nice lady who goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable.
