Nobody attended the property to resolve the dirty BBQ, the black mould coming out of the shower head!!!! Just a few of the issues reported,many times!!! Appalling on Sykes part!!!”
“Cottage is not far from Kendal so in a good position with ample car parking space. Family who run it very friendly.It has an excellent pub a short drive away where the food was good.
However the cottage is a bit tired looking, had a musty smell which did improve slightly over the week end with windows open and the heating on.
It needed more utensils in the kitchen, we were out for meals both nights so just about managed if catering in you may struggle.”
“Fabulous sized house for our extended family. So many bedrooms allowed all our grandchildren to have their own space. Very well equipped with working WiFi. Easy access to local amenities this was our second visit and already booked for next year.”

“This was our 2nd visit. Beautiful quiet location. The owner friendly and helpful on arrival then left us to it. The yurt was spotlessly clean. The hot tub amazing and loved the bathrobes. The yurt was well equipped. A very relaxing getaway , I would highly recommend.”
“I really enjoyed my stay in Demelza. The lovely apartment has everything you need and the owners were very prompt to reply and helpful. They even returned some clothing Iâd managed to leave there ! The keyless entry is very easy to use and parking is thoughtfully provided in a nearby car park.”
“End Retreat is small and for 2 people as advertised, but it is very nicely presented and spotless. It sits in a very pleasant, peaceful rural setting north of Wroxham, and is well positioned for the coast, the Broads, Norwich, plus other places of interest within 50 minutes driving. There are also plenty of places to eat within reach in a car. We enjoyed our stay very much.”

“The lovely hosts made us feel welcome. It is beautiful venue - quiet and remote. We were treated to a local welcome hamper with delicious local marmalade. It is a great location for lots of walong and trips out which we certainly did. My only disappointment was not being about to use the shower as the entrance is quite narrow- my partner enjoyed it at least. But the bath was quite a suitable alternative.”
