“It would have been a 5 star if the towel rail had been working great place to stay every thing you need for cooking v clean washing machine and dishwasher plenty of wild life in the large garden bed bit to hard for us otherwise great stay 9/10.”

stay ...although engineer visited day reported to Sykes' said problem resolved-
not so, following day re-visit resolved problem , replaced element in cylinder.

Disappointed that dirty mouldy tea towels were in the washing machine...WC
wipe one roll only.. well used rubber kitchen gloves...grubby wire wool pan wiper.
Clearly no attention levelled for incoming visitors.
Fell well short of many cottages we have paid for over the years.

“We book 2-3 staycations a year through the Sykes app and have been happy with our experience each time. The app is easy to use, the search is very good, the holiday accommodation and the range of different types of accommodation is excellent. The prices are reasonable and the option to pay over 3 instalments is great. Using the app it’s easy to keep track of due dates and instalment amounts. The Bloom discounts are good too.”

“great house, rooms, faciliies and area. Not pet friendly! not allowed to leave pets alone in the house and this spoils the holiday. this is not mentioned on sykes but only once you get there. other animals in garden including ducks, cats and other dogs. Gate insuffient on a main road. The house is faultless and we loved it but not actually suitable for pet owners. It's a real shame as i would give the house top marks.”
“We found Callow cottage had everything we needed for a restful and peaceful break in spite of the weather. The cottage itself is set in a beautiful location but is a long drive from main road and very much off grid. The last section (the landlords driveway is quite rocky) so care is needed driving a smaller car up to the cottage.”
“Chalet was as expected. Very disappointed with the state of the grounds outside, very scruffy, the grass had not been cut for a very long time, unable to sit outside, or for children or dogs to play.”
