“Cliffe House Cottage in the Yorkshire Dales was a fantastic location with unbelievable views from each window. The cottage was beautiful presented, the furniture was really nice with no expense spared. The bedroom had a super king-size bed with nice bedding. The bathroom was fantastic with a bath and large shower. Everything was spotless and the kitchen looked as though it had been recently updated. The sitting room was spacious which included
a logburner and two leather sofas. We have found Sykes cottages can always be really nice to stay in having stayed in several but this property takes some beating. Thanks to Simon and Annette for a great break.”

“The Retreat was very comfortable and well equipped. The host was very friendly and made us very welcome. Unfortunately, the surrounding area, although very picturesque, had very few public footpaths so was not ideal as we needed to exercise our dog. Also, places to eat and drink were few and far between.”
“Liked the 3 properties we have stayed at with Sykes and their communication pre holiday, I wasn’t massively enamoured with their reaction to one of our bookings being cancelled at short notice due to a problem with the property.”
“Staff locally very friendly and helpful - Don’t like the phone system - too many questions and couldn’t find correct option - all I wanted was to speak to the Dartmouth Office regarding keys they couldn’t find that I had handed in - finally got through to someone in head office explain situation- would of like a call confirming keys had been found was left feeling worried”

The television was a bit temperamental but we worked it out with assistance.”

“Lovely barn conversion, met by Ron and luna and made very welcome, Ron showed us around the barn and gave us the tour.
Lovely location very peaceful with fantastic views across the valley.
Most places of interest are not more than a hour away , obviously some places will take a little longer but the views are stunning which ever way you choose.
Barn is well equipped and comfortable, only downside with us being old the loo is downstairs, this is just to let older folks know.
