“This is a lovely spacious lodge with all the mod cons, clean and warm. It is only a few miles from Penzance yet feels in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by moorland and countryside.”
“The cottage is set in the lovely grounds of the Ammerdown Centre and met the need for a ground floor bedroom with en suite bathroom. There were repeated problems with the heating and hot water system which were fixed within a reasonable time. One shower cubicle was not very clean. The kitchen and sitting room had limited space for our party of seven and the TV could not receive live BBC programmes. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and visits to towns like Bath, Frome and Shepton Mallet.”

“Smallcroft is a lovely clean spacious property in a quiet location with all the facilities you could want. Whitstable is a 30 minute walk away with plenty of shops, restaurants & pubs serving good food. Ideally situated to venture further in Kent to visit places of interest such as Canterbury or other coastal towns.”

Hot tub amazing swimming pool wonderful . Everything so clean . Woodburner great but weather warm in October do only used it twice . Will be back . Thank you hosts for a great stay”
“Good well fitted out cottage. We were a couple and potentially the cottage would take 4 but it might be a little crowded. There were plenty of towels and a number of 'welcome' gifts in the kitchen such as pint of milk in the fridge, washing up liquid, washing up sponges, instant coffee, teabags and more. The double bed was comfortable and the TV and Radio were well setup. The only slight downer being the dog was a bit unhappy with the mile walk to find a pub or restaurant. A good holiday in spite of the fact that there was quite a lot ofrain.”
“Nice house with a lovely enclosed garden. We appreciate the extra touches left by the owner, including the bread, milk and scones. Our only suggestion is that the bed mattresses are improved. It would also be good to add the house name to the gates to make the property easier to find. Whilst the booking talks about a £200 bond this is not included in the price.”
