Girlie weekend to celebrate my daughter’s up and coming wedding. Spotlessly clean, with a well stocked kitchen. There was a very generous welcome pack which was much appreciated! Lovely comfy beds. Bathrooms / en-suites are spacious, with large shower cubicles.
Owners very helpful and gave us extra time to check out due to the clocks going forward.

It was always lovely and cosy and the beds were really comfortable. The large windows made the rooms very light and gave us a great view of the hare that hopped passed every night around dusk. “The cottage was lovely and quirky and we felt right in the traditional part of Staithes.
One change I would ask is as the heating takes overnight to warm up, in winter when there is no-one in during the week, can someone pop in and put it on the day before. It would make the arrival much more warm and cosy.”

“Rose Cottage is a lovely cottage well equipped and comfortable. Unfortunately it is situated alongside a busy A road, and the road noise was something we did struggle with. If we had been aware of this at the time of booking it's not a cottage we would have chosen, but the information provided and photos shown do not indicate the close proximity of this A road. We have rated 4 stars as the cottage itself was everything we needed.”
