“The lodge was very clean and had everything that we needed for our break. Great location with so many beaches within a short drive and Runswick Bay only a short walk away. The site was very peaceful. As has been mentioned previously, the hot tub is a little small but still nice to relax in after a day of walking. Only thing that could make this lodge better would be a reclining sofa 😊 We had a wonderful time. Thank you!”

“A beautiful holiday home in the most perfect location. This house is nestled in a group of holiday lets, close to the dog-friendly beach and a pub with sensational views where you can watch the waves for hours. A steep walk is also immediately accessible from the front of the house where you can do a coastal walk to Tintagel.
The House
The house was lovely. Immaculately kitted out with all the little things you need already in place. We have two teenage girls and so found the house to be 'just big enough' as the top bunk bed was almost touching the ceiling and the sofa wasn't large enough for us all to sit on (easily resolved as my husband and I mainly sat out front watching the waves) but definitely a consideration for bigger families.
We went out of season so it was very chilly. But we armed ourselves with bed socks and extra hoodies and layers. There were extra heaters provided which helped but this wouldn't be an issue in the summer.
The location is in easy reach of lots of lovely beaches and walks. Padstow is only around 30 minutes, Tintagel around 10 and Bostcastle about the same where there is a lovely farm shop and cafe.
We had a wonderful few days and would highly recommend this beautfiil holiday home.”
“Such a lovely property very clean. Loads of space with everything you could need. Nice comfortable beds in each if the 3 bedrooms clean towels in both the shower rooms.
Grandson had lots of toys to play with in the conservatory and games TV and dvds books etc in the living area
Full cooking facilities and a very warm wood burning fire.
This property is lovely and warm in in the cooler months.
The owners are only a phone call away if you need anything.
All in all great value for money lovely owners there is nothing not to like it's a lovely rural home lovely and quiet I will be back again when I get chance”
“The Hayloft was very comfortable and quite well equipped. The area had fantastic views and the cottages themselves were in a lovely setting. I made contact with the owner on two occasions regarding early access and local amenities and received replies very quickly. When we arrived she greeted us but wasn't able to spend anytime with us as she was busy with lambing season. The evidence was in the field near the property a day or so later. Had a lovely relaxing break here.”

Close to the centre of Coniston with shops and food outlets.
Would recommend and would use again when we are in the Lakes.”
“Sykes was efficient, but the cottage we rented was a little run down. E.G. the tin opener did not work, and the wi-fi was intermittent. However it was comfortable and warm, and quite well equipped.”
“Lovely cottage and great quiet location for town and the Monsal Trail but needs some maintenance: plaster cracked above window in main bedroom en-suite and the WiFi needs looking into as cottage states a Smart TV but WiFi not strong enough to run the apps on the Smart TV. Could not access emails or play games on iPads.
Would revisit if the WiFi issue is resolved.”
“Peaceful area with nearest hiking trail only disappoints is our phone network not covering that area I think our network company issues anyway feel comfortable and good vibes with hot tub”
“We loved our stay in Wensum Spring cottage. It had everything you could possibly need. Comfortable clean and welcoming. The dog loved the enclosed garden just perfect for early morning and late eve. The owner very nice too. If we go to that area again we will definitely rebook. Thank you for a lovely stay.”
