“Just returned home from our second stay at a bungerlow booked via Sykes in Ambleside
in the Lake District. Again a great stay , venue very comfortable and well appointed . What
is worth noting is we did have an electrical problem on te first day and quite late but Gemma
from Sykes was very much on the ball , got a maintainance guy with us within the hour . All sorted
within 24 hrs [sunday] and left us to enjoy a beutifull week with some rain/sun once again.

“Pencraig was large and airy and generally clean but is in need of some refurbishment as some of the soft furnishing are looking worn. The bathrooms were clean and modern but insufficient if there was a party of eleven people, there were four to six plus one infant in our group, so we managed fine.
Several of the locks were tempermental and the front door could prove hard to open.
The Jacuzzi was a big plus point which we enjoyed using. It was a little walk to the beach but the beach and surrounding area was very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay at Treaddur Bay very much.”
“This is a tired neglected cottage no longer the five star Cotswold gem described in the listing. Outside was overgrown and seating unusable, see pic. The sofas are worn. The dining chairs are worn and uncomfortable. A living room curtain was filthy, see pic. There are wood lice everywhere inside.
The property is wrongly described as suitable for those with limited mobility, it is NOT suitable. There are steps at the entrance to the bathroom and to the main bedroom with no handrails. The doorways to both bedrooms are too narrow for wheelchairs.
So much wrong with this property, it needs some care and attention and the mobility description correcting.”

“The Old Dairy was a beautiful cottage with everything you could need. Jenny left a welcome basket, that was so thoughtful of her, she is a lovely owner. My 2 dogs loved the big gardens. The cottage was really clean and comfortable, I would definately stay there again.”
