“Vine cottage was lovely and cosy, it was lovely and peaceful, it was great to see the peacocks everyday.
The sofa's and beds were super comfy. The kitchen amenities are very good and the shower was amazing. The lane to the cottage is a bit rough but it's not a problem as long as you take your time. We would happily come back one day.”

Very clean modern and looked after.
Little touches of fresh flowers and a hamper with scones cream jam etc and a bottle of milk was a very thoughtful touch.

“This was our first stay at Malt Shovel Cottage but will not be our last. Very impressed with the cottage overall, everything you needed was provided for a stay away from home. Loved the wood burning stove, came in very useful as the weather was cold, made the room so cosy and adds to the character of the cottage. In a lovely peaceful location which is ideal for getting out and about

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cut short our stay due to an emergency Hospital appointment being required for my partner.

“Had a wonderful stay at Sailors Watch. It was exactly as described. Beds were very comfortable and the property was very relaxing to stay in. We will definitely stay there again for sure.
Only thing I would add is be careful if the stairs. They can be a bit slippery. Would really recommend some anti slip on them as I did fall down them one morning but I did only have socks on. 🤭 Would thoroughly recommend a stay there.”
“The cottage is well equipped and comfortable. However the garden is not really dog escape proof. Small dogs can get under the gate on to the road at the front.”
