“A pretty cottage with a long garden in a peaceful village. The main reason for a lower star rating is that the mattresses on both double beds are very soft and uncomfortable, they could do with replacing or at least a mattress topper as there was just a thin cover over them. The house was clean but for some reason there was no dish washer liquid left which is unusual, but as we arrived in good time went to buy some.”
“We have booked with Sykes Cottages many times and have alway found that the advertised properties photos are accurate. They are of the highest standards and well looked after.
From experience we will not use anyone else by choice.”

“Simply loved this home for our family holiday. The layout of the converted chapel was so good and allowed the family to be together, even when they weren't. The children loved being upstairs watching the TV or playing games but also being part of the adults conversations.
We all miss being there, now we're at home.

“Booked The Studio last minute to meet up with friends. We have always been happy with Sykes bookings and are regular users.
Sorry to say this property was a huge disappointment.
It has clearly been very nice in the past but has been very neglected. We don't mind tired but unfortunately the property was very dirty.
We bought anti-back wipes, cleaned as much as we could, hoovered and actually had to buy sheets and pillow cases as the bedding smelled bad.
The only reason we didn't leave was because we had driven a long way and wanted to meet friends. We did leave a night early.
Avoid this property until it has had a deep clean and refresh - or until the price reflects the lack of care and attention.”

I usually book on line, which is straight forward and easy, but have if had a query when telephoning have always found the staff very helpful. would certainly recommend using Sykes, as we have for places all over the UK. I am sure you will be happy with the results.”
