“The Lodge is an excellent well planned, spacious holiday home. Situated in a quiet backwater and ideally placed for the short distance into Lyme and not far from Jurassic Coast beaches such as Burton Bradstock.
The owners have put a lot of thought and effort into the layout with much emphasis on accessibility. This was appreciated as my wife is currently using a wheelchair.
Although very functional it is also very homely, attractive and warm for November nights in. The lodge is also spotlessly clean with everything you might need provided. Ourselves and dog Bertie had a hugely enjoyable week and found our host charming and very helpful. There are so many places to visit in this region without having to drive all day. Lyme Regis is particularly special this time of year, not too many visitors and the beaches have fewer if any restriction for dogs. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommended this property.”
“Lovely well equipped little terrace house at a good price. Comfy beds and clean linen. Ideal for 2 people. Very close to everything. Good heating and plentiful hot water. Small courtyard for coffee in the sun. Staircase creaks really badly and toilet flush needs attention. Tv remote not working well. Would stay again.”

“My friend and I had a lovely stay at Shippon Barn. It was our second visit there. It is a comfortable place and always very clean on arrival. Loved the wood burning stove. Am sure we will be going there again at some point.”
“We really enjoyed our stay here, in the country, farm animals nearby and a short drive to Stratford and all that it had to offer. The bedrooms were a good size and beds were comfortable. Large living/dining room which was perfect for children. Highly recommend.”
