“Had a week in Anglesey . The location was fabulous in Cemaes Bay. You could see and hear the sea from the front door. The property was lovely. No complaints.
Only disappointment was the weather, wet, windy and chilly all week, but we still went out every day to the lovely towns and gorgeous beaches and bays, the dog loved it.”
“It is an outstanding place with beautifully crafted property that allows for people to have the view of the sea at the same time, enjoy the big house, a beautifully design, bedrooms and bathrooms, and keeping in mind every single aspect of what is required in a good house and perhaps most important to mention is the attention to details. “Booked this last minute and what a great decision, very cute maisonette with the most stunning views across the estuary to Kingswear. Spotlessly clean and all the amenities you need for a home away from home. Very close to the town centre (though not recommended for anyone with mobility issues - the choice of a steep hill or 88 steep steps to climb to get back!), and the garage was a great bonus considering the very narrow streets and no on street parking. Would definitely recommend, the only minor downside was a lack of a hair dryer but otherwise amazing.”
“This is my 10th stay with Sykes. Always know we will have a great property and this was no exception. The owners were very helpful and property clean and beautifully decorated. The location was ideal for exploring the coast and we even got to see puffins on the boat trip from Beaumaris. The highlight was watching the wildlife from the huge double doors upstairs.”
“We stayed for 4 nights in May as we were attending a family wedding at the Waternouth cove wedding venue. It was only a few minutes walk so really convenient. The property was spacious, extremely clean and well equipped. Would’ve be been really nice to have more than 1 toilet roll as there were 5 of us and we had to go out to buy some, similarly dishwasher tablets. The site itself was well maintained and the views were stunning. Information on where to dispose of rubbish would’ve been useful and we did not find where to put the rubbish or bottle recycling.
Our stay here was overall very good and the points raised were minor issues when all considered. We would definitely stay here again.”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our Bank Holiday weekend at Cavendish Cottage. It was beautifully presented with a lovely thoughtful welcome pack that included a pint of milk in the fridge which was great. The beds were comfortable and the shower was excellent. Tv he cottage’s location was stunning and we got lots of steps in walking up and down from the town centre. We loved having a morning coffee at the table in front of the cottage admiring the stunning view across the valley and saying good morning to the very friendly neighbours as they walked past.”

“Great location and accomodation. We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. Great place to access plenty of walks right on your doorstep. It was also fantastic to see the horses in the morning (as it is a working stables) and red deer in the fields.
We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, including wood and fire lighters so we could have a fire in the evening!”

The location was perfect, offering stunning surroundings and plenty of opportunities to explore the local area. After a day out, it was lovely to return to such a cosy and welcoming place.
