The hot tub is a lovely extra touch which we used most days. The garden is large & secure ideal for children & dogs, our dog loves it there as much as we do. “COBWEBS & SPIDER WEBS.
These were everywhere in this property. DOnt get me wrong. Inside they had at least tried to clean them off the place, but all around pretty much every window frame were cobwebs.
Outside was a different matter. They hadent even tried to clean up the Lodge. Dont get me wrong. The Lodge is in a wooded area so you expect things like this. But you would at least think the owners would have maybe even just blasted the place with a jet wash to take of some of them.
the reason that this was a big deal for my group, was that my brother is totally blind and my mother is partially sighted and so rely on touch when moving around and when going in and out of the Lodge. To use your hands to feel when going outside to sit or out the front door and to have them totally covered in sticky cobwebs everytime you left was not a nice feeling for my brother.
Apart from this, the place was Lovely. Perfect for what we needed. (Although the shower/toilet room was Tiny for 6 people.
well equiped kitchen and living room. Plenty storage in Rooms, once we moved the High chair and Cot out.
Beds were really comfy and rooms an ok size.”
