“Most properties are of a good standard but we have stayed in a few which clearly haven’t been visited by yourselves for a long while and are in need of desperate attention.
The owners seem to let standards slip because there are no regular checks.
The last property, Castell Chalet was awful as I stated in my review”
“The house was absolutely amazing. The finish was very up market and it was very cosy. Nice and close to the harbour, which meant that not once did we use the car.”
“We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The location was great—peaceful yet with plenty to see and do nearby. The cottage was clean, cosy, and well-equipped. Great amenities in close proximity and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to friends and family.”
“Although we had a great time and location was very good with beautiful views. Owner nice too only comment to make is the house lounge and dining room area not really comfortable for 7 people and lights in kitchen area not adequate and the strip lights under cabinet where not charged and no cable to recharge them.
Donkeys and goats the grandchildren loved.
Slow cooker was a useful item to have and was used for quite a few meals”
“Lovely cottage which was clean and warm and had everything we needed. The garden was as described very steep but we were ok and sat out in the sun. The only mimnus side was the bed are we found the double bed very uncomfortable after a couple of nights which was disappointing it just needs a new matress. We love Beer so we will return.”
“I loved my time at Canach Cottage. Due to the ferries being changed Fiona let me in a few hours early and gave advice on places to go.
Its nice and quiet, the facilities are really good and the garden was Labradoodle proof so he couldn't escape!
I'd recommend the house to anyone.”

“We had a wonderful holiday at Leathes head country house. The house itself was beautiful and spacious we loved the games room and the bar area was popular with us all ranging in age from 5 yrs to 70yrs. The gardens were lovely. It was great to be able to bring our dogs to such a lovely property.”

A lovely spacious cottage situated in an idyllic location with panoramic spectacular views in every direction. A perfect home base to visit local attractions. The Cottage was clean, tidy and well equipped. We have already booked again for next year.
We have booked several times now with Skye’s and find the booking process straightforward and simple to use with useful reminders. It’s what we always use and will continue to use in the future.”
“We have stopped at little barn for a few times, always pleased with it, it has kept its high standard, and is a lovely place to relax, the area is perfect for long walks then home to the hot tub, everything you could need is here under one roof, perfect”

“Lovely cottage very clean the dogs loved the enclosed garden having freedom to run around. The gifts for the dogs was a nice surprise and so where the cakes and bread that where left for us. Would highly recommend for a lovely stay we also enjoyed the hot tub.”
