“My friend & I have just returned from a short break at the lovely Magnolia cottage.
The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. It could do with a proper clean round all the nooks & crannies.
It would have been very helpful if there had been information about the walks we could do from the cottage. As it was we asked locals & plotted the walks on my phone.
Also the cottage I would say is ok for dogs however there is no fenced off area for them - hence I had to take them out on a lead in the open courtyard where other cottages were late evening & early morning. Not ideal as the security light didn’t cover far & didn’t stay on long🤣.
All in all we had a lovely stay but wouldn’t recommend it’s really doggie friendly unless there was an enclosed area created.

Plenty of pots pans & utensils in kitchen but need some oven gloves. only a couple of minor hick ups but Chris came & sorted them. Overall a wonderful holiday.”
“Will not be using them again and would not recommend them. Ignored concerns on our first holiday, cancelled our second with a days notice, third we can back I'll forth they refused to refund deposit after we cancelled due to I'll health but we claimed through our Credit Card. Moral is pay with a Credit Card people.”
“Very pleased with our holiday at the Happy Cow cottage, Symonds Yat. All the arrangements went smoothly and the Welcome Pack was full of good quality local ingredients. Only change I could suggest was a grab rail or seat which could be lowered in the shower to make it more accessible for elderly people. There was one in the photographs of the cottage, but had been removed. Also, most adults are used to 3ft. single beds nowadays, so perhaps it could be mentioned that these are 2ft.6in in the second bedroom. Otherwise all was perfect.”

“Having booked at Willow view, I then realized it was on a hill, but didn't appreciate what that meant..... very steep, would not advise infirm or elderly to book this place...the cottage is very nice with good l, comfortable furniture.,... although cupboard in kitchen looked unclean, containing crockery..a major incident for us was a day into our holiday,our dog sniffed out under the coffee table,a bone from a previous holidaymakers dog...was not happy about this because our dog suffers from pancreatitis....the cleaner obviously overlooked this.....thankyou...”

“The cabin we stayed in was very well presented and well equipped. We were given a friendly welcome and the owners invited us to contact them if we had any problems. They checked the hot tub every evening to ensure all was good. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely break and were able to tour the area as we desired. Just what we wanted.”

“Lovely clean cottage, very peaceful. Cottage has a good supply of utensils and has very comfortable beds.
Hot tub Lovely and on a clear night the sky full of stars. There are wonderful views all around the cottage and well situated for easy access to many towns and villages, including Betws-Y-Coed, Bala and Bala lake, Llangollen and a little further afield but still easily reached Llandudno.
Would definitely recommend if you enjoy the peace and quiet”
