“This was our first stay in Wales and our first ever stay in a holiday cottage and we weren't disappointed on either front! Lovely cottage - the owners had thought of everything which was very much appreciated - down to tea, coffee and loo rolls (!), not to mention a little pack of welsh cakes (yummy). The cottage itself was spotlessly clean with lovely big rooms and plenty of space inside and out. The village is very sleepy and quiet but very quaint. Have already recommended it to friends.”

“We asked some questions prior to our departure & these were not answered despite repeated "chats" with a "bot" and requests to receive communication from a human. They weren't difficult questions & they could have been answered. Please don't tell us this is up to the property owner, you took our money.”

“An amazing place with some great views. It was incredibly clean and tidy and we had lots of space for everything. The kitchen is well equipped so catering is easy. The hot tubs have great views and the Built in speakers made being outside extra fun. The host was brilliant and answered any questions we had.”

My only quip is I really hate receiving a mail on the day before the day you leave, it really shortens the holiday feeling, there are some many different mails from Sykes prior to your holidays that it could be combined into one mail explaining everything perhaps?!! Especially if your not a first timer to the Sykes experience!!”
“Fabulous little cottage at Tan Meredydd. Very well thought out, well equipped and beautifully located in a very quiet EW valley with steep hills on either side. Fine for us as we wanted peace and quiet, but beware there is NO mobile signal and the WiFi is poor so don’t expect connectivity! We had a week in May 26 and wished we’d had longer. We’ve booked again.”
