“My daughter, I and our GSD were privileged to be the first to stay at Little Poppes Lawn, we were made to feel welcome with Tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits, also milk in the fridge, the Annex was really tastefully furnished, tranquil surroundings just what we needed, unfortunately I pulled a muscle in my back and didn't get around as much to explore the countryside and sea, but enjoyed the rest, there was a file, suggesting places to visit and farm shops, which we did visit, thank you. We asked to extend our stay for a few more nights and Charlotte and Tom were very accommodating, luckily they didn't have immediate bookings, there is a bit of an update and down with the WiFi but Tom helped us out, the only things I missed was a microwave and toaster. Thank you for a lovely stay and hope to come back under better circumstances ie no back pain.”
“The flat was very well equipt spotlessly clean and was in an exalent position for beaches and nearby sightseeing.We would highly recomend this accomodation,the yiny issues was the king size bed wasnt comfortable and we had to sleep in the twin beds which was more comfortable and hand rails would be a good idea for higher sge groups like ourselves.thank you again for a good time.”
“A lovely week by the sea. The view and being right on the beach was second to none. Clean house, comfy beds, hot showers, good off road parking.
My only slightly negative comments would be that the TV only had a couple of apps, no netflix or terrestrial tv for example and needed 3 controllers to work.
The soundbar was faulty.
Some lamps didnt have bulbs in. The information book was very basic and could have done with access to a washing machine.
The council bin was full when we arrived and had to leave 2 full bin bags in the house when we left because when you leave them outside the seagulls rip them to shreds!”

Shelves in showers would be useful.
A crockery and cutlery rack on draining board is needed.
However we loved our stay and would go again.”

At the end of the day with a glass of wine in your hand all you wanted was to sit and admire the view.
There was everything you wanted in the house.
A visit to Sandsfoot castle park for coffee and ice cream is a must and only a few yards away.”

“This apartment is not suitable for the elderly or anybody with a disability or young family’s with trolleys. I found this out on arrival. When reviewing this apartment on Sykes, It said the lift goes to the second floor and you have two small flights of stairs.What a lot of rubbish yes the left goes to the second floor but you have to climb two flights of stairs 16 in total with the aid of a very dodgy rope banister on one side the stairs were very very much played down in the advertisement. I did not know they were so extensive or I would not have booked this place! Aso, the cleanliness of the apartment leaves a lot to be desired. At first glance it looks nice and clean but on further inspection dust and dirt abound. This apartment has put me off using Sykes in property in the future. Also, the fact that they want you to clean the apartment before you leave I think it’s a complete and utter joke I go on holiday to get away from cleaning. I do not go to clean somebody else house and pay for the privilege of staying there. I do not expect to strip beds do the washing up and empty the bins before I leave. I thought that was what cleaning staff were supposed to do!”

Perfect area for exploring Anglesey and only a 15 minute walk to Caemes bay

Lots of lovely places to visit. We used the local bus service. The buses were very frequent.

“Sykes is aloof to any comments made by its customers. Their booking fee is excessive and speaking to various cottage owners over the years, Sykes act in their own interest to the detriment of the cottage owners. They give a discount on return from a booking, but give little time to use it. This traps customers into making decisions and bookings months, maybe a year in advance. Sykes is not a helpful company.”
