“The Old Cider Barn is cosy, clean and comfortable, and wecenjoyed hood communication withbthe owner. It's easy to find and ideally located for local visits and touring. We ate twice at the pub next door, the Ring 'o Bells, and enjoyed our meals both time. Our only disappointment was in having no wi-fi”
“The house and location are lovely, we've been here a few times before.
The downside this time, there was a smell of sewage in the house, especially the ensuite toilet and both showers when used. Owner didn't reply to text sent. Last year when we stayed, there was tea, coffee, milk and sugar on the day we arrived. Starter packs for the fire in both rooms was very generous. This year there was just sugar, starter packs were very limited and just enough to last fir the evening. The 5pm check in is also a little late, last year it was 4 pm. The photographs of the rooms are not entirely accurate, furniture has changed, one if the bedroom s has changed entirely so they need updating for online. Not a fan of the pool table in the basement either, it's a bit bleak down there.
Having been here a few times before, it needs a bit of tlc, it's starting to look a little sad.

“Shipwrights at Campion Dock Whitby is excellent accommodation, parking for two cars and within 15 min walk to the town centre.
Other holiday accommodation all supply towels but unfortunately Shipwrights does not which is disappointing.”
“We have rented holiday homes from Sykes Cottages at least three times in Southwold Suffolk. We have always found the properties exactly as they have been described on the website and even better in 'real life'. Sykes are always on hand if the need arises, like we did when we accidentally shut ourselves out of our recent stay :-). We will use Sykes again.”

“The Cubby Hole was fabulous. Great location just a hop and a skip from the beach which is fabulous even in November when we visited.
Cottage has everything you could need for a cosy get away.
Just one or two things to make it 5*
Door to dining area difficult to open as gets stuck on floor (easily rectified)
Small milk jug would be handy and when it says there should be enough log etc to start you off make sure they're there.

“Had a very enjoyable stay. Location is remote but only 10 min drive to Llangollen. Host respect your privacy but on hand and supportive if needed. Cottage is rustic and melts into its environment. Will definitely rebook.”
