“A most wonderful holiday property. This property benefits from a fantastic location with changing Menai waterside views, beautifully decorated and a great layout and an extremely well equipped kitchen. On top of this there are little personal touches, such as bathrobes, hot water bottles and blankets for the colder evenings and an extensive welcome pack and fresh flowers that Elen the owner adds that make it perfect.
Private parking, a walk in shower and no stairs make it perfect for those with less mobility.
Elen also gave some good advice on trips out and where to eat.

“Stayed at Sunset Lodge and wow what a fantastic lodge. It was very comfortable, cosy and homely. Had a fully equipped kitchen, comfy sofas and beds and lovely bathrooms. Dawn was lovely and very helpful and let us know when the lodge was ready and ensured we arrived safely. Could ask her anything before or during our stay. Would highly recommend this lodge, definite wow factor when you walk through the door and lots to do in the area. The Kinema in the Woods is well worth a visit, such a quaint cinema very old fashioned, we loved it. Also if aeroplane fan well worth going to RAF Coningsby to watch typhoons, amazing sight.”

I was very impressed with the accommodation I stayed in with my partner. This last holiday from 1st - 8th September was very good. We stayed in a Lodge in Potter Heigham Norfolk which was excellent. “Sadly not 5Star standard we were expecting. Toilet roll holder hanging off wall and toilet seat loose. Bedding not matched. So many cushions on pew at dining table we were unable to sit on it. Most of them were marked as were the cushions on the settee. Kerb at the end of the driveway rather high touching the underside of car each time we went out. Potentially a lovely property! Very peaceful with lots of nearby places of interest to visit.”
“Sykes don’t appear to be interested in customers individual needs. We had no hot water and they weren’t sure if they were going to send someone the same day. The gardener turned up, let himself into the back garden and started mowing. We were not made aware that this was going to happen. I asked for a slightly later checkout time on medical grounds on their WhatsApp chat an was told no. Was the cleaner there when we left, no. John Bray used to be much more approachable and understanding.”
