“We have stayed four times and have enjoyed every visit. Ocean Watch 1 has it all in spades - great location only minutes from the beach at Greenhill, short walk to Lodmoor Country Park and the RSPB reserve, and a 20 minute walk along the Esplanade into town.
Weymouth still has a certain charm and we love mooching around the back streets.
It has it all and we will be back in September.”

but not too faraway Dolgellau. Rhian & Huw made us most welcome and suggested places of interest to visit. Several days out involved parking at Morfa Mawddach (free parking with two charging points) then walking across the magnificent Barmouth Bridge before spending the afternoon in Barmouth. The cottage is cosy & compact with everything you could possibly need. A most enjoyable stay. Thank you.”

“3rd visit to Ballaghboy Cottage says a lot about our holiday experiences. The area is great-peaceful, private, beautiful views with interesting places and restaurant nearby. Fenced garden works well for our 2 small dogs and human facilities are excellent with 2 bathrooms, 3 double bedrooms, and kitchen is so spacious and bright with open forest views we spent a lot of time there planning our activities. Lake views from the front aspect and plenty of safe parking on site.”
“It was our 3rd visit to Elmbank & booked again for next year so it confirms we love staying there. It has stunning views & a great outdoor area for you to enjoy the views. To get to Elmbank there is a steep climb up a hill, not really accessible by car. If you have mobility issues this is not the holiday home for you. Think a little downstairs refurbishment could be welcomed. The 2 main bedrooms are wonderful with stunning views. 3rd bedroom relatively small. No view & twin beds. Which would be great for children. Overall a very pleasant place to stay”
“Booked Dove Cottage @ Martham for 3 of us. It suited or needs as my wife has mobiity issues and my daughte has mental health issues so the cottage suited our needs. The booking was very easy to do. Sykes 's confirmation detailes, the time scales you need to follow before you set off with access details and a timely reminder that when your hoilday is coming to a close, to leave things a you found them and not to forget any of your items! Otherwise a trouble free booking experience...”

Perfectly placed, just a 5 minute walk to the old harbour. We found that everything we needed for our holiday had been provided. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. The parking was definitely a big bonus.”

“It's almost impossible to contact Sykes by telephone even if you do manage to speak to someone , the phone rings out for ages invariably they are unable to answer your query telling you the will get back to you which rarely happens. Come on Sykes I'm sure you could provide a better customer service than you currently do.

We could not be happier on our holidays. On this occasion we had everything we needed for a weeks holiday 'by the sea'. We had a great time.
