“Lovely clean accommodation, owners happy to help when needed, off road parking, just really a lovely all round place to stay, close to beach and shops”
“We have just returned from a two-week break in this lovely newly renovated house, and enjoyed every moment of it.
The owners, Colm and Roisín are very supportive and do everything to ensure you have a great time in their house, starting off with a great welcome pack.
The house itself is decorated to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable.
The views from the kitchen window towards the local airport (2 mins away by car) and the Aran Islands, are breathtaking on a clear day. You can easily see the Burren in the background.
It is situated along the Wild Atlantic Way and has a stunning coastline with numerous small beaches within a few minutes’ drive. Tra Mor is a great example.
A visit to Lettermore and Lettermullen, known as the Islands and accessed by a causeway and two bridges, is a must. This journey will take in some of the best of the scenery, with sights that easily rival any in the world. Galway City, one of the European Centres of Culture, is less than one hour away.
There are two very good supermarkets near you, Dunkin’s Costcutters - 3 mins west and Tesco’s - 7 mins east.
We would highly recommend this property.”
“The cottage was well presented but the facilities had a few shortcomings. The booking was made for four adults and a child but only two adults were able to go . We found that the fridge was not really suitable for one. Its capacity was so small as to need some to be left out. We found that the washing machine had been in unplugged and left under the kitchen units. Once plugged in again, it would only operate for less than 30 seconds before cutting out. According to the property information booklet along with a selection of videos, there was meant to be a video player, but that too was lacking.
I reported the faulty washing machine to the local maintenance mans' telephone and was advised that the owner had been advised. He subsequently offered me a refund as it would have been impossible to get the washing machine repaired for our use.
As initially stated, the cottage was well
located for a wide range of attractions in the area making it a worthwhile stay location.”
“We stayed in Spring cottage, a beautiful old thatched cottage, very well appointed and tastefully decorated.Lovely garden and well maintained jacuzzi. The owners were very helpful and we had a lovely time”
“A lovely clean, well equipped cottage. In short walking distance to the beach, park & local amenities. A super enclosed garden was a nice wee sun trap. Would definitely recommend.”
“Great house for location to the sea and beautiful beaches. Could do with a little attention to storage issues in some of the bedrooms, garden decking leaking nasty black stuff around the edges when sun is out and a general garden tidy up re broken equipment and extremely long grass, but overall it was fine. Games room was very popular.”
“stayed here with our 2 dogs for a weekend get away, first time taking our dogs with us and we all had a lovely relaxing time.
upon arrival there was some milk they left for us in the fridge which was a lovely touch.
plenty of room to move around and the garden was huge for the dogs to have a wander around and a nice bench to sit on and relax having a drink after a long day sight seeing.
we all had such a lovely time, thank you”
“A really lovely high standard cottage. We had everything we needed and a great welcome pack. We loved the hot tub and towels and robes were provided. It is very private and the views are stunning. Plenty of walking to do in the area and we walked out of the cottgage twice to different places. Plently of places to visit, Blue Johns cavern, Buxton and Lyme House and gardens. We woold definately return and recommend.”
“We stayed at Spring Garden cottage in Laugharne, it had everything you needed for a relaxing break, and a lovely enclosed garden so our dog was perfectly safe. It is close to the pubs and restaurants in the area.”
“We have recently returned from a weekend at the Boars head celebrating my wife’s 50th birthday and what a weekend it was.
The pub has everything you need for a fun packed weekend, games room, hot tub, bar stocked with whatever you fancy, fully functional pub kitchen. The kids loved helping out behind the bar and we had a great party.
The accommodation upstairs and in the annexes was really good, and had everting we needed.
Great thanks to Darren, who was really helpful, answering all questions/queries we had before arriving.
The local village/town is lovely with some nice pubs (the castle and three tons the ones we visited)
Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a fun packed weekend.

“At each place we have stayed at there has been no issues. The decor is fab, the amenities are great and you could not wish for a better way to book a holiday”
“Fabulous cottage in a gorgeous setting, amazing views, cottage very well equipped and very comfortable. Had a lovely few days would definitely go back. If you like peace and quiet you will love this place. Loved watching the sheep outside and really appreciated the welcome gift of Welsh cakes, proper Welsh butter bread and milk. Our dog loved it too. We will be back”
“We spent a lovely week at Cranberry. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. Was in easy walking distance to the town and beach. Only criticism was there was no information pack - this would have been extremely useful especially with the recycling, Bude has a completely different system than we have at home.
We would definitely book again.”
