“Usually give 5 stars for Sykes but had a few issues when we were away and didn’t receive a response from Sykes until we got home . Had to contact the management company directly in the meantime who were fantastic.”
“We loved this cottage it's much bigger than the photos show & had everything you need.
Plenty of utensils, crockery, glasses so you can use the dishwasher without running out of anything.Very pretty cottage inside & out lovely garden that our dog liked exploring totally secure.
Parking space right outside gate & excellent Wood burner set in a beautiful fireplace that was so cosy in the evenings!
Great position for visiting lots of places we went to Whitby twice as we loved it there,took about 30mins drive also Robin Hood Bay & Scarborough.
York was an excellent day out took just under an hour to drive there. Pickering was 15mins away & Dalby Forest.
The Coachman on a Sunday evening for a Carvery was fantastic & 5 min drive away!
We had a great week & the owners were really friendly I would definitely recommend this property as was very clean & well looked after you can tell they take pride in their property.
If we were to visit this area again we wouldn't hesitate in booking this cottage again as we had no complaints & two happy teenagers plus dog!!”
