“The cottage 9 Rectory Close Edith Weston was well placed for amenities (pub and shop) and sight seeing. Easy to park. The owners friendly and helpful. The house could be improved by a fully functioning TV, a set of instructions for the appliances and curtains or blinds for the downstairs windows. I did try to phone Sykes before we went but gave up after 30 minutes on hold!”
“We had a fantastic stay at this cottage. It had everything we needed with all the necessary amenities, and the location was perfect. The hot tub was a real highlight — it was fantastic and made the stay feel extra special. We would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.”
“your service and app are terable and dont work which has cost me £40 which due to the app not working i have lost the oppertunity to claim the discount, I have called, emailed, whats apped, and used facebook but cant get anyone to resolve the App issue , its shocking you get discount via the app byt not the PC”
“Hi White Rose cottage in Filey, was exactly as described we really enjoyed our stay the owner Helen was available to speak to for any questions or queries thanks again for a memorable stay.”
“We always, and only ever, book with Sykes as we are never disappointed. All the cottages we have stayed in have been excellent and the booking system and communication is first class. Thank you.”
“What a wonderful place to stay…I wanted to take the bathroom home with me! Well equipped should you wish to cook, we didn’t apart from breakfast of course. Very comfortable bed and plenty of room to store luggage cases out of sight. We loved the hot tub using it most evenings to chill out. This accommodation was the closest we could find to Grimsby where my disabled sister lives and it didn’t disappoint. The only drawback we thought was the underfloor heating which must be a boon in winter, but with warmer weather we found controlling it difficult. Having had underfloor heating ourselves I know it takes longer to adjust but this didn’t over the whole week. We spoke with management about it and they said the would make the necessary changes to the system.”
“We had a lovely stay again at Sea Point, the flat is very well-appointed and comfortable and is within walking distance of two lovely pubs and some great restaurants. The view is great as well! I’m looking forward to coming back again soon.”
“The cottage was clean but you needed a car to get to amenities. Write up a bit miss leading. We thought some hazard tape would be good from the dining room into the kitchen and a notice to say that the water was very hot. If you have dogs the garden is not secured.”
“Capella cottage in Keswick was a beautiful place to stay, everything you could need, a lovely walk into the centre of Keswick, we will definitely be going back again.

“Redshank was very tidy, clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Made a perfect base for exploring Northumberland and we enjoyed the generous welcome pack.”
“Carvers rest is fabulous . Everything you could need. Spotlessly clean very relaxing . Could live there🥰

Thank you Laura and Andrew xx”
“The apartment was clean and well equipped. It was only about five minutes walk from seafront. However as we are elderly it was not quite for us. It was short of blinds at the windows as the windows are very large and you felt a bit like you were in a goldfish bowl. I am not very mobile and the drive was very difficult for walking on and could have caused me to trip up without holding on to my husband”
