We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Robin Hoods Bay. The property and balcony are a real treat and it is perfectly situated in the centre of the village close to the sea, pubs, coffee shops and car park. The property is in need of a little updating and my only criticism would be that some of the crockery needs to be replaced. We would highly recommend this property.

This is a beautiful cottage, well equipped and ideally located for discovering the beauty of Perthshire and the wonders of the East Coast.

Good website and some great properties, particularly if you are a dog owner

The caravan was clean and served our purposes especially as we could take the dog. It is reasonably priced and photos are accurate. The site is a big one but it was quiet (children still in school other than Bank Holiday weekend) and very clean and tidy. It is right on the pebbly beach with activities, restaurant etc if required. The hiccup over no towels being available was quickly dealt with by Jamie the owner (thank you). Could have done with a folder of info i.e. doctor, dentist, vet, places to visit etc (which is usually in Sykes cottages) and we did miss a welcome pack but no big deal. Loads of places to see and we visited Watchet (don't miss Pebbles Inn on harbour where you are welcome to eat fish and chips from next door), Minehead, Dunster, Lynemouth, Porlock Weir, Selworthy and family in Taunton, which was our main reason for booking - all lovely. Overall a good week away as it only rained at night!

30 Main Street, Ballycarry, N Ireland Excellent spacious 6 bed cottage. Fantastic views over sea loch to Scotland. Really friendly owners who live next door. We had a great week there and would definitely recommend

I have been to 3 or 4 Sykes cottages. (some more than once) I do not want to praise them to much as it may make it more difficult for me to get the bookings I want. The propreties I have been to have been clean and catered for all of our needs, and the staff at Sykes have been friendly and helpful. I think thats all I need to say.

Me and my girlfriend spent a weekend here recently and could not fault it. The lodge is spacious and clean, with everything you could possibly need, the hot tub is generously sized and kept very well. The sauna was also easy to book and really nice. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway into the Lake District and cannot praise the owners enough for their hospitality!!

We often stay in Weymouth and I have to say that Shrimp cottage is the nicest place we’ve stayed so far. Full marks for everything: location, comfort, cleanliness. It’s very well equipped and the welcome basket was such a lovely treat, with local Dorset products. The price was good and the booking process was straightforward. We would definitely look to stay at Shrimp cottage again.

The cottge is in a very good location - very short walk to the beach where our dog could run. You can walk to the local shops and we enjoyed super fish and chips at The Hope and Anchor pub just up the street. The beds felt comfortable to us and the linen and towels were good. There were some welcome treats and useful items left which was a nice touch. The parking can be a bit of a trial but we usually managed to find somewhere nearby to park up. The kitchen has some good quality equipment and we found everything we needed there. The cottage was warm and comfortable with a log burner which we didn't use during our stay. The back yard is secure up to a point - as there are two gates allowing neighbours to cross the yard ... during our stay we didn't have any issues with this but it is something to be fully aware of if you come with a dog. There is a seating area. The lounge carpet has definitely seen better days but as we had a dog this was not an issue for us - we suspect some folks might feel it needs replacing and it would be easier to clean maybe if it was laminate floor etc We enjoyed our stay at No 4 Percy Cottages.

We enjoyed a cosy 7 days in the Outbuilding. The cottage is very well supplied with a wide range of kitchen equipment. As the weather was a bit cooler we were grateful for the blanket that was supplied. The coastal path is very close by.

As usual, a very straightforward experience with Sykes from searching for the accommodation to booking and paying. Decent amount of communication to advise relevant information.

Excellent. Well equipped. Can't comment on hot tub as we didn't use it, not our thing. Clean and tidy. Every thing we wanted and a good base to explore Pembrokeshire.
