“I usually find Sykes really good but on phoning recently to ask a bout me being a able to contact owner regarding access to property I was going to the lady I spoke to was very unhelpful and lacked people skills very disappointed poor training or she didn't care 🙁🙁🙁”
“Absolutely Stunning Property - the garden was immense and the lake at the bottom beautiful. The dogs had a great holiday they could chase about and play all day ( while we rested with a drink) Kitchen very well equipped but lovely pub over the road serving great meals ( Sunday Lunch,) Would definitely go back .”

Such a pity that it too often reverts to the Bloom site with its horrid vertical listings and far less information immediately available. I have also recently been trying to review a cottage but your invitation to do so only leads to a meaningless list of properties. Are standards slipping?”

“We had a lovely relaxing break at The Folly. Chris and Sally met us on our arrival and were helpful and friendly and left us to settle in.
The Folly is compact but has everything you need, well planned out, cosy warm and very clean. The hot tub is a bonus, great way to relax in peaceful surroundings.
Loads of great walks on the doorstep and a decent pub a stones’ throw away. Also walking distance to Grassington where there are lots more cafes, restaurants and The Devonshire is excellent for service and food.
Would highly recommend The Folly.”

Equipped with all amenities including a hot tub.
10 minute flat walk to the swing bridge and centre of Whitby.
This was our 3rd stay at Salt Bay as this the best location we have stopped at in Whitby”
