“My husband and I recently stayed at Little Valley View. It’s an annex flat built onto the owners home. Entrance to the flat is on the side of the house where you have a private seating area on a patio. The flat is located up a flight of stairs (a little steep). The accommodation is so nice: light, airy and very clean. Views from all windows are of the beautiful countryside. If you have young children, they will love watching the train coming and going several times a day in the distance. From the double bedroom, there is a great view of the viaduct, built in 1883. You have everything you need for self catering. There are no small shops in the village of Angarrack but there is a large Asda in Hayle - approx. 2 miles away. There is also a small shopping centre less than a mile from the flat with Marks & Spencer’s, Boots and Next. You can see it in the distance from the flat. We liked the peace and tranquility of the location and yet you are near to the A30 for exploring Cornwall. Wayne was very helpful when we struggled to get the heat on. The owners won’t bother you at all unless you need something. All in all, a spacious flat that we enjoyed. Just be careful and go slowly on the stairs!”
“This is our second time staying at this property. We love it. Its cosy and and so close to the village. You have a choice of so many lovely walks straight from the doorstep yet you are only half hour away from the beach of you fancy a day out by the sea. We are looking at booking again later in the year.”
“Our apartment was very well situated, comfortable, comprehensively equipped, and really easy to live in. Just what was needed for a relaxing week in Cornwall.”
“Had a complaint about cottage I phoned they seamed concerned at first then never replied to the WhatsApp text. Won’t use Sykes ever again. All for the owners and not for their customers.”
“Amazing stay in a historic building. Relaxing comfortable break in an awe inspiring place. Loved watching the Dolphins each day and right on the coastal path. Would love to return some day. Well done Team”
“I have been a Sykes customer for 20 years and have always found the website very informative and easy to navigate, and the booking process very easy. I always know my bookings are secure and would trust Sykes over any of the popular new holiday booking websites whose booking processes can be confusing and revolve around a 'per night' rate which always works out very expensive.”
“We stayed at Holmwood Coach House early March, it is a lovely characterful property, well equipped and furnished.
Very comfy beds and once we had a visit from a handyman, the morning after arrival, who sorted the central heating out we were lovely and warm. It would not work at all the night we arrived and the place was cold, but a quick chat to NT manager on Sunday morning resulted in a quick fix. We enjoyed our visit and found it very relaxing.”
“Fabulous apartment - had nearly everything we needed (air fryer would be an added extra as no oven) Very clean and walking distance to the nearest beach. Having the pool available was an added bonus.”
“Excellent stay in a great location as usual, but some of the kitchen utensils that have gone missing over the years need replacing, a few places need touching up/ Damp removal and settee and chair are a bit dead comfort wise”
“Extremely comfortable house. A couple of things missing. Oven gloves and a rubber mat in ensuite shower as very slippery. Not as close to the seafront as I thought. I should imagine in the Summer the bedroom on 3rd floor and the glass topped extension would be extremely hot despite blinds.”
“I have just returned from a lovely few days away at Olive Tree Cottage in Honley. The house was immaculate on arrival. There is everything you could possibly need including a range cooker, log burner, and a rainfall shower. It's tastefully decorated with beautiful pictures & ornaments that make you feel at home, so much so that we didn't want to leave. I would highly recommend.”
