“We very much enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Cottage. The cottage is very characterful and tastefully decorated throughout, with everything you need. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean and just a short walk from the harbour/town centre. The host was also very helpful. We would have no hesitation in returning and recommending to others.”

Parking was great, with extra parking across the road.
Views of the viaduct were really good.
A couple of things that the owners may like to consider are 1. A handrail at the last few steps on the top of the stairs. 1. A few more serving dishes and a jug for gravy and/or custard.

“Stayed in the granary for 1 week and was the best week away we have had on a UK Holiday the location, the cottage, the village and walks was perfect and Aimee could not be more helpful along with Pancake & Waffle (Pet Sheep), already looking to go back in the new year ASAP”
“An excellent little apartment perfect for a short winter break right by the sea. Well set up for an elderly parent with mobility difficulties. This was our second visit and would come again but there was a few noticeable maintenance issues since our last visit a year ago. The bath plug doesn’t seem to hold the water and drains out of you’re not quick and some of the crockery needs replacing as chipped. I think some new pillows in the main bedroom would also be good as they’re rather thin and lumpy. Having said that it’s beautifully decorated and so well located that we would still recommend this little gem”
“Recommend the Coach House at Bank Top Farm the owner Karl was so welcoming and helpful the property is very comfortable with the added bonus of a hot tub, plus the surprise bottle of prosecco and milk.
The view across to the woodland and open fields is stunning.
Ideally located to explore the area for us it was a short stay visiting near by Alton Towers for the rides and amazing fireworks and Chatsworth Christmas Market with the festive house and gardens .
We really hope to stay at The Coach House again to explore the beautiful Peak District.
