“I had no verbal contact but received emails and information on my account in the Sykes app. I’d received an email offering a £40 discount off my next booking with them, which I couldn’t initially get as I’d booked through a company Sykes has taken over. I raised this with the and they emailed me and gave me the discount so I didn’t lose out. I was pleased with this outcome.”

“The cottage was great. The problem is Sykes who no longer respond to anything. I had to modify our booking from three people and two dogs down to two people and no dogs. It was impossible to get anybody to understand this. So I've paid dog fees and dog insurance and not had a refund. I do not appreciate being out of pocket and will not be choosing Sykes again.”
“We were very lucky with the weather, the pool got used a lot! The pool and games room very popular. The house is in a nice location and worked well for our large family. My only criticism would be it's a bit tired looking and the cleaner they use is not very efficient. We had to wash many of the outside cushions. Would also have expected it to be better stocked, w up liquid, bin bags, d w rinse etc. We would go back and overall it worked well.”
“We stayed at the Arnant in Barmouth over the bank holiday weekend and it was perfect. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our breakaway. The owners of the holiday let were great too. Super welcoming and helpful with tips regarding shortcuts for when walking into the seaside town. It will be at the top of our list for place to stay when we return to the area.”
“Fantastic location, warm friendly support from Nathan, lovely welcome gift- Thank you. The Hot tub was great, clean and well maintianed. We were a little apprehensive as it said Dog friendly, but it didn't smell and no evidence of previous dogs. Towels and linen were great.
My only slight negative was the attention to detail with cleaning- some cobwebs and spiders on the ceilings and behind doors, and the inside of the cupboards needed a good wipe out in the kitchen.”
“We had a very enjoyable week at Roslyn & made full use of the beautiful garden. Good set of garden furniture & a new gas BBQ. Useful to have 2 ovens in the kitchen when catering for a party of 8.
Currently there is a table,dining chairs & comfy seating in both the dining room & the lounge. As neither table was big enough for 8, it would be better to have one larger table in the dining room & more comfy seats in the lounge as currently only 5. Also the dining chairs are very unstable & need replacing.
They were minor issues & we would definitely stay again.”
